I really liked that episode. The concept was cool, and always kept being exciting as a good horror mystery should.

Very good episode but i found the ending to be a bit rushed Also a "Pyramids Of Mars" reference would have been nice {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I know the mummy was a robot of sorts, but that doesn't count. They could have had one of the previous ships called "Scarman" or somthing . If their was a vocal reference then I don't remember hearing it......Honestly I'm surprised I can hear anything over the damn loud music

I'm a week behind, just finished watching Kill the Moon.
I can't say I liked it. Where exactly was the dilemma? Kill one save billions. Save one kill billions. How exactly is that something to consider? Plus, they were all worried about killing the ONE creature. Why weren't they worried about killing the millions of spiders too?
Also, disliked Clara ranting at the Doctor when he did little wrong in this episode. I hope she's gone for good because she's a terrible character.
I also hope Courtney isn't going to appear again. She's utterly dull and annoying.
So far, this series has been very hit and miss. The next episode looks good though.

I liked it. It's a fairly simple concept and it was executed well. Not entirely sure it needed the sci-fi twist though. The story just being a bout a cursed mummy would have worked fine for me, not to mention it technically makes yet ANOTHER robot as the bad guy this season. Oh well, it's not like it ruined anything. I am especially glad they managed to have a mummy that actually looks like a mummy (as opposed to a zombie with a few strips of cloth) and does NOT look ridiculous. However, I'm actually a bit disappointed that... Clara decided to stay with The Doctor in the end. It felt like she was really taking a stand and reacting to the Doctor's occasional selfishness (well, more than occasional in the case of Twelve), plus she was leaving of her own accord rather than because of some traumatic event unlike every other companion in New Who, which all felt like a new and different dynamic for the show, but then they went and restored the statu quo.

So the first comic with the 12th doctor is out this week, and apparently this version is a major departure from the more serious Doctor we're getting on the show. Serious departure.

I didn't hate it, but I also didn't love it. I'm not loving this series, and it's not Capaldi that's dragging it down. It's the writing. The writing is so forgettable. The monsters and issues, forgettable, the overarching season story, practically non-existent. I'd say there should be a learning curve because it's a new Doctor, but it's the same showrunner, who's been working on the show in some fashion since 2005. Hopefully the good scripts are being held back for the rest of the series.

Well, that was definately... an average episode of Doctor Who. After all the extreme ups and downs this series so far that really was the last thing I expected. I liked it. But I do agree that Clara really has to go, her story is played out, the Doctor has settled into his new persona and doesn't need her anymore and she clearly wants to go anyway. I hope this series ends with him dumping her (preferably out the TARDIS door in deep space but that's just me)

I'm sick of the baddies always being aliens/robots. NO it's not needed. Especially annoyed about them all being soldiers/war machines.

I think they're going somewhere with the soldier theme this series. The first episode proper has the Doctor clashing with some soldiers, then Clara falls in love with a former soldier, there's malfunctioning weapons and lost soldiers as monsters, it can't all be accidental.

{Spoiler}Fantastic episode tonight. Tense stuff with some great sci-fi concepts that seemed very extended-universe Who (dimensions that work in different ways, like ...ish and Forty-Five) along with a nicely balanced supporting cast, and some of the most gorgeous effects work in a long time, and the best actual use of effects since the Starry Night sequence of Vincent & The Doctor. Probably my fave regular story since Hide.

So,Gus has something to do with "heaven" right? Reverse engineering the Mummy's teleporting ability to snatch people right before they "die" maybe?

Great episode this week. Still really don't get the Clara hatred, because I thought she was awesome throughout the whole episode. And the dimensional creatures were pretty damn creepy.
Next week's episode has Danny Pink in most of it? Ugh.
