A. Damn that sucks. But since neck injuries take so long to heal, might as well just fix a bunch of other nagging injuries and let them all heal at the same time. Might as well take a look at his knees too.
B. Interesting that all this wacky drama is luckily being filmed and documented by the cameras of Total Divas of all shows.

With Bryan's career probably being cut a bit short and if Punk never returns at all, things aren't looking good for WWE. Sure, we have Roman Reigns but I get the feeling his push is gonna backfire badly. There's still Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Bray Wyatt all who are massively over.

I know but there's just a part of me that thinks WWE is gonna screw them up in a way. I guess after years of it happening, I just expect more balls being dropped.

How is this just being noticed now? what it sounds like to me is that he went in for the first simple surgery and when he didn't heal properly they looked at his entire neck/shoulder area and found a whole bunch of stuff wrong with him.

What should happen: This should be a wake up call to think about restructuring how WWE schedules shows and utilizes its talent.
What will happen: Cena and the other "top" guys are left to suffer with a bigger workload and put their own health at greater risk to fill the airtime that would've gone to Bryan.

As much as I want to see Bryan continue in WWE, hopefully he just takes his time before he considers a comeback. If he can still go decently, come back in a year and let's see where he can fit in. If not, I really think he'd be a great trainer/backstage hand for WWE to keep on the payroll, understanding fairly well how to wrestle different styles while maintaining character and story in the ring. Personally, all I *REALLY* want out of this whole deal is a nice Bryan 3-DVD set encompassing his WWE career, similar to Punk's.
As far as talented wrestlers in the WWE, we still have Rollins and Ambrose on the main roster, as well as a host of others I know I'm not mentioning(and although it may seem so, I really don't mean to imply that the indie darlings are the ONLY ones who are talented.) Neville, Breeze, Zayn, and more in NXT waiting for their chance. and the rumors of KENTA, Devitt, Steen, and Mack coming in relatively soon. I think they're slowly going down a good path here, so if Bryan's health is bad enough...call it a career, thank you for the memories, and WWE please give me the DVD set.

This is probably what happened. Right I know they're reacting to the fact he didn't heal properly. But the fact he didn't heal properly wasn't something that just became apparent this week.

There's a recovery time for every surgery. When the recovery time has come and gone and things are not back to normal, that's when, as a doctor, you start to ask questions and dig for answers.

Which I'm aware. Did he not also clear that recovery time a while back? He said himself "I may need more surgery" before. Did they do the cliffnotes post recovery surgery exam prompting him to say that, because they were late for golf the first time, then do the real one later? =P

I'm guessing if he hopefully does make a comeback it won't be for at least a year.

That was a pretty major surgery, isn't the true recovery time around 2 months? It felt like he had his surgery and boom, that was it.

Until there is an official statement from Dragons camp; there is no sense in jumping to conclusions unless of course someone has the inside 1-900-909-9900 scoop? I'm hopeful that because he is still young and fairly healthy, he can make a complete recovery.

Would love to see him make a full recovery and return for the Royal Rumble next year like Edge did.

At this point, I think its less of "when will he be back?" and more of "will he be back?"

The most important thing for Bryan right now is his health and and his recovery. There's no point in anyone worrying about "his spot" if there isn't even a guarantee that he'll be physically able to get back into it.
If he had to retire because of this, I'd be plenty satisfied with how his career turned out.

I'm hoping he gets through this for his health and so he can have the kind of return reactions HHH and Kurt Angle had after their injury sabbaticals.

That sucks. But this is also the reason that they can't wait around to push Reigns or whoever else. You can't hold a spot for a dude when you have no clue when he'll be back.
