Someone, somewhere in creative needs to be getting their asses handed to them by Vince. WWE, well, Raw in general is just flat out appalling recently. Borderline unwatchable. Somethings need to happen and Somethings need to go away forever.
Get rid of the announce team. All of them. They sound ancient, bored and they ruin the product and actually help make bad segments worse. One of the clones from NXT, Renee Young and Regal can only be an improvement.
Can the obnoxious shilling. These backstage skits with Adam Rose may give you some cash, but you are insulting your f***ing audience. "Brought to you by.." is fine. Having them drink Mountain Dew at their desks is fine, but advertising a product should never interfere with the actual program.
That's two of my suggestions. What improvements would you make?

The thing is people still watch.
They have that consistent audience that nothing can really affect too dramatically in either direction.
They are still one of the best rated shows on Cable in the US.

New blood in the main event. They're getting there, but too slowly. Judging from the atmosphere around various big matches this year, I would estimate that the fanbase as a whole is having a deeply negative reaction to anything that feels too "been there, done that."

Honestly? I'd just get rid of Vince. He's the one in the commentary team's ears and making them say the things they do. He's the one behind the obnoxious shilling (even if it is a use for Adam Rose). He's the one behind just about every bad decision or stupid segment that makes it to TV and that Creative gets blamed for. So yeah, just get rid of Vince and I think things will just change naturally.

My suggestion is not listening to your suggestion because nothing would change based on who is at the announcers table.
Other than that, focus on more than just your main eventers.

Given the number of factors thst have been outside of their control , such as injuries and walk outs (yeah, him!) I don't think its complete fair to trash WWE creative as a whole. But I do agree the product has gotten stale and they are not doing all they can with some of the potential advantages they have. I would argue it may be a good idea to let some of the people in charge of NXT have a little say into RAW just to try freshening the formula up a bit.

People overstate the commentary team. Removing Cole/Lawler/Jibble ain't turning the raw ratings from a 3.0 to 4.0 or will make the WWE network profitable.

I think Raw needs a complete creative overhaul. The show feels like you are watching exactly the same show from anywhere between the mid 2000s to present day (apart from the addition of the annoying panning out from the titantron to the crowd for every single backstage segment).
I think it would also help to re-energise the show if the commentators didn't sound so bored out of their mind. Every time Raw goes off the air I imagine how much more important and dramatic it would have felt with JR's commentary reaching a crescendo at the conclusion of the show.

Stone Cold said it in one of his podcasts I believe, but before, wrestling fans went into each episode of Raw wondering what exciting things will happen, but these days, they're wondering if exciting things will happen.

Have Raw be two hours of Total Divas and one hour of NXT.

I think Raw needs to go back to being 2 hours. Three hours is just too much. Didn't work for Nitro back in the day and I don't think it works now.

Have Raw be two hours of Total Divas and one hour of NXT. If it was NXT Redemption, why not just combine the two?

Back in the day, nobody knew what to expect. There were plenty of twist and turns, for better or worse. Nowadays, it's just predictable. That's what the WWE is. Predictable.

Based on WWE's track record, the only change that will make a difference is if you change your viewing habits (stop watching).
RAW/SD is a f***ing meat grinder right now. Talented wrestlers go in one end and meat (not THAT Meat) comes out the other. We just turn the handle by watching.
That being said, I can take the shilling, commentary and even the stagnant main event scene - but in the past few years its seemed like people on the show just aren't enjoying themselves as wrestlers. Something about how the show is laid out makes it feel very artificial and devoid of that "in the moment" feel (and not in the tacky Attitude Era way, but more in terms of being present in the moment). For the most part, wrestlers go through the motions, always with an eye to the backstage area, worrying about what they're doing and if it'll please the boss. While that's part of being employed, what ends up happening is that they're so concerned about pleasing the paymasters they ignore the live crowd or even the audience on the other side of the camera. There's very little connection between the performer and the audience (a few exceptions of course) and that connection is what makes a show feel unpredictabe and alive (not crash booking or t&a).

Judging from the atmosphere around various big matches this year, I would estimate that the fanbase as a whole is having a deeply negative reaction to anything that feels too "been there, done that." They're obviously moving Reigns and Wyatt up to the main event status, but I have no idea who Wyatt should feud with and, even if Reigns does eventually end up being a great wrestler (or just stays super over), that's just one new guy. It baffles me when they have guys like Sheamus and Cesaro, who have both been on the cusp of SUPER OVER STAR status, and just neuter them to keep them in the midcard.

Raw is essentially 3 hours of matches and promos that mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Based on WWE's track record, the only change that will make a difference is if you change your viewing habits (stop watching). WWE's ratings have been slowly declining for years now and it's made no difference creatively. What they need is legitimate competition. I don't think it's a coincidence that WWE was at its hottest when they were competing against various territories in the mid 80s and against WCW in the late 90s and at its worst in the early 90s and post 2001 when they've had no real threats.

My suggestion is not listening to your suggestion because nothing would change based on who is at the announcers table. Eh, yeah it would. I stopped watching several years ago and a huge part of that was the dogshit commentary. It got to a point a few years ago when I would say "ok, time to watch Raw" and within two minutes Id be like "I cant do this" and would just listen to music instead of watching altogether. They just dont connect with the audience in any meaningful, likeable way. To me it's beyond awful and at least fresh blood and in the booth from more talented, motivated performers would go a long way to making the show bearable again. Of course that wouldn't change the 3 hours, or the gaudy overproduced hegemony of the shows but it would be a start.

Outside of Regal(who I love) I don't really see any sort of talent "waiting in the wings" so to speak. Obviously that's a matter of opinion/preference. This could all change, and they could improve of course, but RIGHT NOW, there's not a ton of options.
