What's funny us that they're missing ECW true spirit. Paul Heyman never looked to the past, he had all the stars past their prime (Muraco and Snuka to name a few) phased out and focused on the younger talent, the future. If ECW still existed all those guys (Taz, Dudleys, Dreamer) wouldn't be used anymore, if heyman had booked the NYC tapings he would've the ECW old guys job to the wolves, joe and Gunner, lol no f*** Gunner, Austin Aries. And you know what the NYC audience would've respected that, but no, unless TNA learns that their home grown talent is better than the wwe castoffs they'll make the same mistakes over and over. Not only that. It just felt tame compared to the ECW of old. It's one thing living on memory and wanting to bring it back but it seems like that at this point it's old men having some foggy memory of who they were and trying to do a parody of that thing. I felt the same way when TNA did their ECW PPV a few years ago. The moment when I saw Team 3-D and Raven playing best friend with the rest of the ECW roster, it didn't feel right to me. It would be like seeing a WCW invasion and having the nWo holding hands with Sting and Flair. If in 2014 the idea of being hardcore is just putting someone like EC3 into a easily breakable table, then count me out.

Doesn't matter how many sides you add to a ring if the wrestling inside of it sucks.
