Ass whipping coming for a while? She's been gone for ages. She spent last year embarrassing her best friend, constantly beating her in big matches, she tore down the Divas division saying the others got there because they sucked up to the right people, those Divas never got a chance to respond, she constantly beat those Divas, won a match where every other Diva was against her, only lost the title on a fluke, and won it back right after coming back. She's had comeuppance coming for a long time. She went her heel run where she always won and didn't get what she deserved. It's like Orton's face turn in 2004. He was a supreme dick, never got comeuppance, and when he finally got his comeuppance, the WWE expected us to feel sorry for him, only that wasn't the reaction of the crowd. Despite cheering him earlier, fans were glad to see his character finally get his ass kicked, and get what he deserved. She was cheered for the pipebomb. The Total Divas deserved to be torn down.

I think she started getting cheers because she was the only one worth cheering for. NOT because that's true, but because that's how it's presented. I think Naomi especially has more talent than any diva, but when AJ beats them all in one match then loses in a fluke and comes back to get the title back AFTER being a dick to everyone for over a year, I have trouble feeling bad when someone finally gives her some form of payback.

Daniel Bryan was an emotionally abusive egomaniac asshole, but he turned face because the crowds liked chanting "Yes" a lot. Face turns in WWE are strange and don't often make sense.

He went through therapy. We saw him change though Ha, true. He learned the magic of friendship after he was forced to hug a pyromaniac demon. I guess maybe AJ's three-month absence was supposed to be something equivalent to that, along with giving a seemingly sincere apology promo upon her return. It's really no worse than Triple H turning face after breaking JR's arm...or Kurt Angle turning face after trying to rape Sharmell...or Randy Orton turning face after trying to murder Mick Foley... Yeah, WWE is weird.

He went through therapy. We saw him change though What about Bryan's "weak link" phase. Kane was doing everything to be supportive of Bryan and convince him that he was not the weak link and that he was a great wrestler and Bryan still went off and acted like a jerk to him. Geez, it's no wonder Kane went out and Tombstone Piledrived Bryan on the outside of the ring, the steel steps and the announce table. He kinda had it coming for being such a jerk to him.
