I said this in the other thread, but just release Mysterio. Salary-wise, he has to be making more than 90% of the roster. He's too injured to compete on a regular basis anyway. Near constantly injured or not, his merch sells and the WWE can't afford to lose that right now so the only way Rey is going anywhere is if he sues to escape his contract. Rey owns his gimmick, he could retire and still make money from his likeness the way Warrior has, something that would irk Vince to no end.

Forget the steroid scandal. Forget Ted Turner, Eric Bischoff and WCW. Forget Chris Benoit. Hell, even forget the kayfabe dose of poison known as the nWo.
Vince has subjected his company with a real lethal dose of poison called incompetent management.

Unless they were granted a massive discount to use the Fieldhouse, I don't see why they could not have downsized slightly. From my understanding it can be cheaper to rent bigger buildings because there's less demand for them. Same reason why TNA books buildings that are way too big for them. WWE is pretty smart when it comes to these things, if they could make more money running a 7,000 seat arena then they'd do it. I could understand that, but that arena is pretty busy. The reason I thought that they might get a discount is the fact that the arena would also get parking revenues from a WWE show and the profit from that alone might be worth charging less than the other two options.

But of course, the people at the top level management get to keep their big salaries. What a load of bull.

I would dance for joy if Dunn is one of those fired.
Honestly, I can see that cock getting a HUGE paycheck too. They'd probably save more canning his worthless ass than they would firing 2 or 3 backstage crew/caterers.

So after the numbers posted today and even a rise in the stock, will they fire anyone?

So after the numbers posted today and even a rise in the stock, will they fire anyone? They announced a 7% cut of their staff.

So after the numbers posted today and even a rise in the stock, will they fire anyone? They announced a 7% cut of their staff. The keyword was "staff." Since the talent are independent contractors, they aren't staff.

They don't necessarily have to fire Kevin Dunn - just pension him off and bring in someone new as head of TV production. The increase in revenue from higher ratings due to the improvements in the shows' quality will certainly render the reduction in staff unnecessary.

Easily solvable without people losing their job or atleast not so many. Scale down from this. Back to this. Go even more Minimal for TV Have the more elaborate sets for PPV
