No thanks. We don't need Megan Fox as the Pink Ranger. Or his take on how he thinks a black ranger acts. Or slo-mo helicopter glory shots of the U.S. military doing nothing.

Or his take on how he thinks a black ranger acts. Or slo-mo helicopter glory shots of the U.S. military doing nothing. The military/whoever the Rangers' wacky human friends are would do all the work and carry the story. Or Jason demanding that Goldar "give him his face" before murdering him in cold blood, cause that's what grimdark "realistic" heroes do. Noble superheroes? Bah! That's so '50s! Or Bulk and Skull getting high on pot brownies. Or Rita's monster having an "enemy scrotum." Alpha 5 humping the Pink Ranger? Said Pink Ranger bending over in a low cut top while seductively leaning on the front of her Zord? Zordon is old, so he must fart at least once! Flatulence = INSTANT COMEDY! (yeah it is, but...) I'm sure that Bay mark guy would think all of the above is hilarious, though.

Wouldn't the military in the PR universe just be the Silver Guardians or something? i.e. Wes & Eric from Time Force? Jason David Frank better have a f***in' cameo. Honestly, the way he behaves nowadays, I'd rather not see him in anything Power Rangers ever again...

Both Lightspeed Rescue and Lost Galaxy either had a military or were a militarized task force.

The Lightspeed Rangers I think were part of the military. Time Force would count as a police body, same with SPD. I'm the same with Frank. Not because of how he behaves since I don't know, but I don't need a distracting, goes-on-too-long cameo for the sake of a cameo.

Sounds like a full on remake Ah OK. I wonder how they would bring in the Green Ranger to the film if it is a remake from scratch. Unless he is an original ranger like the other five, I don't see there being enough time in the film to cover that storyline (could appear at end as a teaser to a second film). Then again that could be the theme of the entire movie, the five Rangers vs. Green Ranger. Anyway my minds running away with ideas haha but I'm quite excited to see it! Personally, I'd like to see them save Green Ranger for a sequel.

Better yet, get M. Night Shamaylan to direct. "The Saban actors and actresses are really Japanese. WHATTA TWIST!"

A post-credits scene of Rita (Or maybe even Lord Zedd) revealing a sixth power coin, maybe even have the dragon dagger music play. That is a PERFECT sequel hook.

Ending the second movie with a Lord Zedd teaser would be just as awesome as ending the first one with a Green Ranger teaser. This is all assuming, of course, that we'd get more than just the one movie.

If I see Bay/Liebsmen/Wiseman name anywhere near this, I'm out.
All 3 are a movie making disease

My power rangers fandom ended when I was bout 13, but I'd go see a movie remake for the hijinks. Although I am imagining something along the lines of big trouble in little china crossed with Pacific rim crossed with 10 things I hate about you and ninjas in style, so probably will be disappointed.

Now to see if they can pull off the quite impossible and get Amy Jo Johnson atleast for a cameo. Screw that, I'd rather have a David Yost cameo. That or a Audri DuBois (Trini in the unaired pilot) cameo.

I regular military officer showed up in Turbo once. Which actually creates the amusing thought that after five years the government only sends one guy to help.
