That's what the title says since I was wondering. I could consider CM Punk can continue his wrestling career elsewhere like the indies or the new GFW to avoid the negativity around WWE. With AJ Lee possibly quitting, Punk could continue to wrestle in the indies on a sporadic basis.
At least Punk can choose his choice: Indies or retire forever.

I don't think he wants to wrestle anywhere.

I don't think he wants to wrestle anywhere. Look again like Matt Morgan, he said he is not ruling out an part time Indy appearance.

He's financially stable, so it looks like he'll only go back if he truly wants to. Right now, it doesn't seem that way and he's not a kid (turning 36 in October,) either, so my guess would be no.

He could go the indy route.
I don't see him joining up with GFW even if it does manage to become more than a glorified e-fed, because that might require him to go back on the road depending on what Jarrett's goal for the company is. And I think the reason why GFW hasn't materialized into anything yet is because Jarrett wants to start big, and Punk would probably want no part of that, since he'd get burned out again.

For now I think he's content on going to baseball and hockey games and appearing on shows hosted by Chris Hardwick.

Why wrestle in the indies for less money if he can just tell Vince he'll come back if he wrestles (insert wrestler name) in the main event of a big PPV (not mania) and make a boatload of cash destroying his body.

Then again, he'll appear at AAA's TripleMania XXIII like ADR did at XXII. I doubt he can wrestle at Wrestle-1 in Japan then Chikara/DGUSA.

I'm not sure if Punk would want to come back and be the very thing he was complaining about, a part timer taking spots away from the full time roster who bust their ass day in and day out.

Why on Earth would he want to though? If burnout/nagging injuries was the problem, it would seem silly to continue elsewhere; especially when the rewards aren't nearly so high.

If Punk wanted to wrestle elsewhere at this point, he would already be doing so.
Dude wants to chill at home ad have fun and stuff. I'm sure someday he'll wrestle a match somewhere whether it be WWE, New Japan, or wherever. I just don't understand why everyone is so worried about it until it happens. If you miss Punk so much there are literally hundreds (maybe thousands) of matches that he was in over the years that were filmed that you can watch.

Why can't some of us process that CM Punk just want to chill and enjoy retirement? If he says he's done, he's done and we should respect his decision.

Punk has saved enough money that he isn't desperate so if he wanted to wrestle, he can wrestle on his own terms. And he doesn't have to travel as hard as a WWE or journeyman Indy wrestler does.
