Brock issues an open challenge.
*Inoki! Bombaye! Inoki! Bombaye!*
Antonio Inoki (The Hall of Famer, King!) comes out and slaps Brock clean across the face. Lesnar is KO'd.
1, 2, 3 (dah!) Inoki is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion!
The win isn't counted in the official records. The titles goes back to Cena. He holds the belt in an iron grip until it is rescued by...let's say...Moe.

The ideal story would be Bryan coming back and winning it, but if he's undergoing Tommy John surgery then the idea of him even making WM31 would be a bit generous. And it wouldn't be fair to anyone for Brock to keep the title warm just for him.
Reigns, Cesaro and Dean are over but they have a long way to go, Ziggler still needs a program to officially shift him up the card, Lesnar/Rock is a big money match but doesn't elevate anyone new, and Cena is just Brock food at this point. I can't say whether or not he'll job clean again (it wouldn't shock me if he did), but he's definitely losing again at NoC.
So my solution? The Bunny.

The new stable of Kenta, Kevin Steen, and Devitt team up to bear Brock and become the new WWE Champion at the same time.

Brock doesn't lose the title. In fact, Brock stops showing up. Stops being mentioned. Paul Heyman comes out to his music one day and kind of obliquely mentions the whole thing.
Big Gold is brought back. We never see Brock or the current WWE title again. Dirt sheets report that Brock and Rosa Mendes have eloped and Brock is content being a local Minnesota celebrity.

Oh man a batshit booking thread about Lesnar dropping the title. Sign me up! Lesnar retains the title after narrowly beating CM Punk in a brutal ladder match. Then this theme hits: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBY_ZkjrKZcIn a reverse WM IX moment Gedo challenges Lesnar for the title on behalf of his client Kazuchika Okada, which he accepts. Rainmaker and it's over! The next month Okada beats Lesnar clean in a no dq match.

Brock remains champion for almost a year, destroying heels and faces alike.
Then on Wrestlemania the Shield reform for one night just so they can put this monster down.

Brock tries to repeat his destruction of Cena on Daniel Bryan, but Bryan keeps landing on his feet and then hitting a running knee until Brock is finally worn down for elbows to the head plus "kicking his [particular] head in."

If Bryan is healthy enough, I think he'd be my ideal candidate to win it. If they ever want to cement him as a legit threat/big star, making Lesnar tap out in the middle of the ring would certainly do that.
However, if Bryan isn't an option, I'd gladly accept Sting beating him in 18 seconds at WrestleMania.

I want to see a low card guy put on the performance of his career in an epic feud with Lesnar, fighting his heart out only to lose in spectacular fashion.
Then after Lesnar mercifully crushes the poor jobber, Daniel Bryan comes out and WM9's the whole thing by challenging Lesnar to a match and winning with a knee to the face in 18 seconds

The new stable of Kenta, Kevin Steen, and Devitt team up to bear Brock and become the new WWE Champion at the same time. I can imagine a triple pin scenario taking place ......of Brock piling their bodies on top of one another and going for the cover.

A grueling last man standing match. He loses to anything other than a fancy(weak looking, by the way) shining wizard.

I'd like to preface this by saying I am not a huge Punk fan that being said...
Brock runs roughshod over the roster
Cena has a rematch is destroyed.
Next night Battle Royale in which a jobber wins after everyone else (midcard heels) bails at the prospect of facing Lesnar... Jobber is stretchered out
Jericho in full SRS mode tries and is sent back to his rock band after a slightly better showing than Cena.
Ambrose is next loses by ref stoppage after Brock "breaks" his arm and he still won't stop.
Reigns tries at Mania almost wins but gets screwed by Heyman interference, attacks Brock and leaves him laying, Rollins cashes in and Brock sits up and murders him.
Night after Mania Shield reforms to attack Brock. Fatal four way Brock wins after Shield can't stay together.
At this point Heyman cuts a promo saying no one can beat Brock and he's taking the title home and never coming back cue Bryan coming back as a last chance for WWE match goes in Bryans favor until he screws a dive up thanks to Heyman and Brock capitalizes Bryan gets destroyed post match.
Next night Lesnar and Heyman cut another promo about leaving with the title saying it's in Bricks contract he can never be stripped of the title and since no one in the WWE can beat him he might as well just take the title and leave.
A few weeks pass and we have a Raw in Chicago, Heyman comes out to Punks music and reminds the crowd that soon Punks only memorable achievement will be lost as his client blah blah blah will soon pass Punks title reign making him the longest reigning.... at this point a figure in a black hoodie rushes Heyman and destroys him he takes off his hood to reveal it's Bryan... Heyman is screaming for Brock who doesn't show, Heyman escapes Bryan and runs up the stage but is cut off by Cult of Personality and Punks return to the WWE Punk hits the GTS on Heyman to close Raw.
Next Raw features HHH explaining Brock not being at Raw was hurting his check book and he wouldn't allow that so he swallowed his pride and asked Bryan for help who in turn spoke to Punk realizing he could convince Punk to come back and even the odds against Heyman but Punk refused so Bryan had no choice but to try and take Heyman out...Punk comes out and explains initially he was glad to watch Hunters own stupid plan backfire in his giant nose but when Heyman insulted his legacy he made it personal. So he got his buddy at security to sneak him in where he ambushed Lesnar and stopped Heyman from escaping.
Heyman and Lesnar come out fights happen a triple threat is made at the next PPV between Punk Bryan and Lesnar.
Lesnar initially holds his own but Punk and Bryan use weapons and finally a GTS into Knee+ combo to knock Brock on the announce table which he is then put through by duel elbows off a ladder. Bryan ultimately wins after he and Punk have a solid 10 minute bank and forth in the ring while Lesnar lays in the wreckage only awakening at the very end but falling to stop the final pinfall.

Wade Barrett challenges the Authority, wondering why he's been forgotten. Demands a title match. They say it's a death sentence. Over the next couple weeks unrest grows in the WWE locker room as Lesnar begins terrorizing the back, interrupting matches, saying he can do whatever he wants; he ruins big matches, like for instance he'd just have come out in the middle of Ambrose/Rollins and F5'd them both, like he violently buzzkills everything. PPV comes. Wade Barrett vs. Brock Lesnar, no holds barred. Brock scores early super bad beatdown, viciously destroying Barrett like he did Cena. German Snap German Powerbomb German Mounted Elbows German German - MEATHOOK CLOTHESLINE BROCK IS DOWN RYBACK IN RING - - SLATER! SWEETNESS AS BROCK TRIES TO STAND - - BROCK POPS UP - ELBOW FROM BARRETT- - 450 GABRIEL OFF THE TOP - 1 2 3 Barrett is champ. Triple H, Stephanie, Kane and Paul Heyman on the stage going insane. This plays. {Spoiler}

Brock, in a segment leading up to Night of Champions, has a confrontation in with Hogan, and breaks his arm with the Kimura.
At NoC, it's Cena versus Lesnar as scheduled. This fight is a bit more even, but at one point there's a ref bump. Brock takes a chair and beats Cena to a pulp. As he's waiting for the referee to come to, Hulk runs (ok, hobbles) out and levels Lesnar with a reinforced cast-aided Ax Bomber. He drags Cena and lays him on top of Brock. The ref wakes up and counts the pin. Cena becomes champ, and the rubber match takes place inside Hell in a Cell to prevent further interference.
