The first year of Owen Hart's heel run.
Survivor Series 93, being the only member of his family eliminated after Bret distracted him, patching things up for Royal Rumble when Bret trying too hard cost him his first ever belt so he fully turned.
Beating Bret at Wrestlemania in a classic the same night Bret won the belt to establish him as an equal, yet still overshadowed.
Equalling Bret's accomplishment from the previous year by winning the King of the Ring, and getting Bret's old partner as his bodyguard.
While he lost at Summerslam, come Survivor Series, he got his way by causing Bret to lose the title to Bob Backland, lying to his own parents constantly to do it.
It's just a shame they took him out of the title picture after that. Keep him strong with say, a feud/win v Bulldog at the Royal Rumble and you have another challenger for Diesel who needed good quality opposition in his run.

In 2008, the Flair/HBK angle evolved organically into HBK/Batista, then HBK/Jericho and finally Batista/Jericho. I liked that, and I usually don't like things involving Dave as a face (except for Guardians of the Galaxy).

The Jake/Macho feud.
It's the darkest and most vicious thing I've ever seen in wrestling. You can have people going through tables, chair shots, Hell in a Cell and all that other shit. Nothing matches the brutality of what Jake did to Macho and Liz. Gatecrashing their wedding reception for no reason other than sadistic pleasure, setting a cobra on Macho with close up shots of it gnawing on his arm and drawing blood, children weeping in the crowd, Jake actually physically abusing Liz and tormenting her, and then delivering a promo where he said that he wanted to corrupt her into something that even he would want.
Just watch Macho's promo after Liz got slapped. It's incredible.
Amazing.

I think they were good early on and then they used them as The Authority's lapdogs and they lost what was interesting about them. Also when they came in, they were pretty interesting, there was an air of mystery about them. That Ambrose interview was awesome. But in the end they didn't have any plans, they attacked people for no reasons. As much as I loved Shield, I have to agree. They started off with the "justice" type thing which was cool but ultimately, once it was revealed that was just a front for doing Heyman's dirty work they kinda lost direction. Still loved them though. They were awesome. But if they had more of a plan or purpose post-Heyman, they could have been even better. wrestling is 99% black and white storytelling. Attacking a face that the fans wanted in a title match is not justice and people need to stop trusting heels

The Undertaker locking the Ultimate Warrior inside a coffin.
Complete with a close up of Paul Bearer sealing the damn thing.

The final image of Jake smiling at the cobra like a proud father while Vince screams "Jake Roberts...Jake Roberts is SICK!" is maybe my favorite image in all wrestling.

Jack Tunney's announcement of the Wrestlemania IV tournament.
He just sounded like a legit sporting commissioner, going through the technical details of WWF rules and regulations.
No on-the-fly shit, no "in this very ring" crap, just a measured and reasoned way of dealing with a tricky situation.

Hogan losing the WWF title for the first time was booked to perfection with the double ref swerve / Dibiase buying the belt from Andre. Ted Dibiase really was the greatest champion there never was, if you don't consider him one...

WrestleMania 28.
Bringing Mike Tyson in.
Building up Steve Austin.
Getting rid of the World Heavyweight Championship
Getting rid of the 2 title World Championship belts
Getting Razor Ramon, Warrior, and Bruno Sammartino into the Hall of Fame.
Launching the WWE Network.
Going PG. (Sidenote - Do you realize how much money the WWE has made since going PG?)

Outlaw Ron Bass' attack on Brutus Beefcake.
It was so violent and brutal. Again, you can take all your overblown stunts and it doesn't approach the effectiveness of Bass raking those spurs across Beefcake's forehead with a big red "X" across the screen.

I'd have to rank the Steve Austin/Bret Hart double turn at WrestleMania 13 up there. In one night they turned Austin into one of the company's top babyfaces and Bret into one of the company's top heels. Bret's promo to seal the heel turn topped it off.
I think Eric Bischoff's debut as Raw GM deserves mention, just because of the shock factor involved. For a long time you just could have imagined Bischoff working for Vince or vice-versa.

Mankind's first attack on the Undertaker
After so many terrible feuds with fat guys or tall freaks, WWF finally realised that pairing Taker with a smaller, more agile wrestler with a compelling character even darker and more sinister than him would be the way forward, and IMO it provided Taker with his greatest ever feud and arch rival.

The Del Rio/Zigger double turn was executed beautifully. Unfortunately the rest of the feud was BS.

I was much more of a mark back then and a fan of WCW/WWF but when Jericho debuted I was surprised that they were putting him into a program with the Rock. The Rock was treated as one of the top guys in the WWF while Jericho had never been allowed past the midcard it seemed. I was sure Jericho would be turned into a joke. Boy was I glad to be proved wrong there.
Also, when the Radicalz showed up it was a similar situation where so many of them had been held down that I wasn't super excited for them. My biggest memory of Eddie was the LWO debacle, I remembered Saturn from the Raven Flock stuff but not much after that. I remembered Malenko and Benoit had been Horsemen but that stable had been dragged through the mud for so long that hardly mattered anymore. Keep in mind I had missed the Malenko/Jericho feud.
That said, putting Jericho into a top level feud right off was a great way to introduce him in hindsight.
The invasion was a steaming pile of crap but one good thing came out of it. The Hurricane.

Chris Benoit winning the Rumble as the #1 entrant, defeating both Triple H and HBK clean at 'Mania, then winning the same match at the following PPV.
Perfect booking.

JBL and Cole Show. All of it.
More of that sort of stuff needs to be on TV. It's helped a lot of superstars in a way the more serious promos they're given can't.
