Man, JLaw wasn't screwing around. When she takes a naked pic, she really takes one.
I would just deny it was me like Blake Lively did (even though no one on earth bought it), and it'll blow over eventually.
EDIT: They uploaded naked pics into the freaking CLOUD? I mean...what?

They should all donate money to charities and state they were simply raising awareness. #NudeSelfiesForAwareness
In all seriousness, it is a shame when this happens. I too do feel they should be a bit more careful with these nude photographs, but it doesn't make it right for a hacker to upload them.

It'd be kind of awkward if this was how Jennette McCurdy's pictures got out after her saying the only person she sent them to was her ex, and to draw our own conclusions on how they got out. I imagine we'd have heard about more of them, between then and now, if that was the case, though.
I am admittedly a strange person, but I don't get the mindset of guys who derive a kick out of doing shit like this to people. You can be pretty positive that the person doing this does not look at the celebrities like human beings. To them, this is just akin to leaking a new iPhone design for petty fame and money. There is that level of disconnect.

These are all over the place, it seems. One other place I've been to, someone had Kate Upton's supposed leaked pic in their sig. That was kind of funny in that if you told me it was from a photoshoot, I'd believe you, it's not any more racy than what she does for a living and nothing is showing, so she definitely got off lucky compared to many others.

Not surprisingly, Jennifer Lawrence's legal team have said that they'll seek to sue anyone they catch posting the photos. Not sure if they mean the original source, or anyone on social media/other websites.

I would assume they'd mean the former, but the threat is also probably to encourage imgur and other sites to crack down as much as they can.

OK, let's separate blame from naïveté here. Blame goes to the creep who hacked the the cloud and got the photos and they deserve to be punished for violation of privacy. The naïveté goes to the stars who took the photos and decided to keep them in something that could be accessed by someone else. The cloud is not a bank unfortunately and, as the saying goes, don't put anything you would not feel comfortable sharing with your mom in a secure place.
Bottom line - the world sucks and some real awful people with no sense of morality or scruples will take advantage of those who are not cautious. Here endeth the lesson.

Can't people just watch porn like normal human beings? Ok, this line of thinking always kills me. A person, as a fan, is attracted to Jennifer Lawrence, or at the very least wants to see her naked. So, rather than seeing her naked, you should just go watch someone else completely different and unconnected to her? I've never understood this thinking. If you're attracted to a SPECIFIC star for any number of reasons, why would you give a shit about some random nobody with a hairbrush up their hoo-ha? Last time I checked, fantasy is a big part of attraction. There's psychology to it sometimes. Not everyone wants to just randomly rub one out robotically to some unknown porn star. The fantasy is in picturing, in this case, Jennifer Lawrence herself.

You can't to be completely honest. Yeah they're at a higher position than most of us, but they still have privacy like we do. If they wanna do what they do with their partners in the privacy of wherever, so be it. You shouldn't have to give up your privacy, sexiness & fun just because there are assholes who have nothing better to do with their lives. And on a selfish note, no one's gonna want to get freaky because there's a chance some coward will leak their photos or attempt to shame them. Messing the game up for all of us. You don't say that, because it's not the right thing to say. They're free to take weird ass pictures of themselves and delete them later if they want, and I'm sure this was the case with a considerable number of those pictures. The Cloud just keeps them stored even after deleting them, which is the main problem with it all. Well, that and hackers being generally lousy people. It needs to be said so that further leaks happen. When something f***s up like this, then it's perfectly reasonable to tell people how to prevent it from happening again. They still have the freedom to do it, but freedom still requires them to be more responsible with it in the first place, there's little reason for cloud storage to be used in this particular scenario, so it was just an innocent oversight that was horribly exploited. Since it's not possible for such leaks to be contained when they're out in the wild, the next best thing to do is inform people of how to prevent it from happening again.
