And yes, I looked at some of the photos today. If that makes me a bastard then fine. Sue me. Considering they were tweeted in to my timeline to begin with it would have been kind of impossible to avert my eyes from EVER seeing them anyway. I'm hanging around at this point for the memes. Twitter is out doing itself tonight. twitter.com/DailyDragonBall/status/506314827397361664Seriously. This is good stuff.

Can't people just watch porn like normal human beings? Ok, this line of thinking always kills me. A person, as a fan, is attracted to Jennifer Lawrence, or at the very least wants to see her naked. So, rather than seeing her naked, you should just go watch someone else completely different and unconnected to her? I've never understood this thinking. If you're attracted to a SPECIFIC star for any number of reasons, why would you give a shit about some random nobody with a hairbrush up their hoo-ha? Last time I checked, fantasy is a big part of attraction. There's psychology to it sometimes. Not everyone wants to just randomly rub one out robotically to some unknown porn star. The fantasy is in picturing, in this case, Jennifer Lawrence herself. This is a bit of a strange point to me. I understand that if someone wants to see Jennifer Lawrence naked, they're gonna wanna see her naked but the invasive nature of this is highly unethical. It's not really something that you can just tell someone "you don't understand, some people have a certain standard of woman they want to see naked on the internet" to justify leaking someone's private pictures on the internet. Though I'm sure you recognize that this sort of invasion of privacy is wrong, I take issue with the idea that since it's out there, let's bust out some lotion and enjoy. It's just gross.

Anyone who thinks someone who looks at a naked picture of a woman rates them as "the worst" isn't worthy of knowing. By that wording, looking at a picture of someone makes you worse than a kiddy-fiddler or a mass murderer. it's looking at pictures of naked women who had no idea that these photos could be accessed. Here is my thing with that, you basically have to believe they are all dumb or ignorant for them to "have had no idea the photos could be accessed". With how many times this has happened, the sheer amount of people affected and every one of these women grew up in the internet age, I cannot sit here and think them all that damned naive. Not saying it is right or defending those who did it, but if they were saved on the cloud? That shit can get got. And at the very least some of them had to know it. I just refuse to think all of them are that dumb or naive, or even most. Most of them have had friends/coworkers it has happened to. They have heard, they should know. So why the hell do it? There are ways to do a better job of keeping it private. Also, who the hell trusts Apple?

There are ways to do a better job of keeping it private. Also, who the hell trusts Apple? Given that Mary Elizabeth Winstead said "“Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this.", it's not even that they were trying to store stuff and it just happened to get access. Even when deleted, Apple was, for some reason, keeping that data on their servers. No matter how people try to spin it, that isn't the fault of the victims. Apple needed better security, and the hackers needed not to hack the bloody thing. And we are, like it or not, in an age where phones are sold partly on how good their digital camera is. So you can either pay out the nose for a good camera and a good phone, or use your phone as your camera, and some people are going to want to take pictures with nudity. Even if you have a digital camera and put something on your computer so you can see it, it's possible it could get hacked. Got a photo album with polaroids? Someone could go into your house and nick it. It's not the fault of the victims.

And I will tell you what I was taught in 95 and is repeated to this day allover "once something is on the internet, it is on the internet forever". Nothing ever gets truly deleted. It isn't the victims faults, but they could have gone to greater lengths to protect themselves. It is no different that using a credit card, you have to be careful and know the risks and weigh the risk. At the end of the day, if we didn't have such a messed up view on nudity in our culture, this would be a non-issue. Cave men never worried about this shit. Also, I turn off auto upload all the time, it can be done. Any time i take a picture for work, that goes right the hell off. Not saying my clients with the world.

Oh heaven help me. I really really want to see these pics, but I'm trying to force myself not to cause it does feel unfair to those who got their phones hacked. This is gonna eat at me for a while. It's like when Seinfeld talked about his brain facing his penis in a chess match.

Naked or not this kind of thing should be a big deal for the sole reason that someone's privacy was invaded and people just lick their chops and dig in. One thing I really can't stand in the advent of the internet generation is that most people seem to feel entitled to this shit. If some anonymous creep took pictures from my computer, even if it were all innocent family pictures or whatever, I would be furious.

Titties. I don't really wanna be labeled a white knight. For the record I'm not the biggest Jennifer Lawrence fan. I can appreciate your stance on this, the penis wants what the penis wants. You seem to embrace the general skeeviness of your behavior and I can appreciate that. Your initial post just had a tone that suggested you feel there was a certain elegance to jerking off to leaked celebrity pics as opposed to porn and it just sounded weird. I can't blame anyone wanting to "use" these images, even if just for curiosity I can't lie it's hard not to but it's just a matter of principle for me. Not that I'm on a high horse, I'm dirt but I don't want any part of this privacy invasion.
