I'm of the opinion that anybody with a hasbro action figure should go in the HOF. Looking forward to the inductions of Akeem, Skinner, Virgil, Repo Man, The Berzerker, Nailz, Giant Gonzalez, and Adam Bomb?

Akeem should definitely be in there. He was hilarious.
Repo should too, but as Smash with the rest of Demolition

Berzerker should get in just for the time he almost beheaded Undertaker with a sword.

For the record, I wasn't advocating against any of those guys, just making a silly reply to the comment I quoted.

Chris Von Erich is the bottom of the WWE Hall of Fame. Simply this. Chris was never over, never had success in wrestling, nor did he have a look, was part of an angle or any significant feud. He was simply inducted as part of an effort by WWE to induct everyone as a means of covering up individual issues, such inducting David would bring up drug use, inducting Fritz would bring up how he treated his sons, inducting Kerry would bring up his drug use, amputation and suicide. But yes, in terms of simply wrestling (not bringing up the celebrity wing), no one has done less and achieved more than Chris Von Erich.

Akeem goes in as One man Gang, Repo Man goes in as Smash, and I'd be okay with Skinner going in as the Fabulous Ones. And to be fair...Virgil was very very over after his break from Dibiase, although personally I wouldn't want him in. Berzerker, Nailz, Gonzalez and Adam Bomb are the only true no's.

Honestly he's not even the most egregious candidate. That would be Vince Senior's limo driver, James Dudley. Sure, he probably did more than that, but he really sticks out when you think about the WWE Hall of Fame.

Dudley wouldn't stand out as much if they would just induct Toots Mondt, Willie Gilzenberg, and maybe Phil Zacko. Then at least we could say the colleagues of Vince Sr were all inducted at some point. Toots especially since he owned 50% of the company and practically invented the form of pro wrestling we know today. Though Dudley is still not on their level, it would make more sense. Looking forward to the inductions of Akeem, Skinner, Virgil, Repo Man, The Berzerker, Nailz, Giant Gonzalez, and Adam Bomb? Akeem goes in as One man Gang, Repo Man goes in as Smash, and I'd be okay with Skinner going in as the Fabulous Ones. And to be fair...Virgil was very very over after his break from Dibiase, although personally I wouldn't want him in. Berzerker, Nailz, Gonzalez and Adam Bomb are the only true no's. Agreed. Berzerker, Nailz, Gonzalez, and Bomb are not even on the table for consideration. It should probably be said that Virgil was helped greatly by Roddy Piper at times. But he was very much over during 1991. Steve "Skinner" Keirn is going to have a real uphill battle to get in the HoF. His best shot is probably being inducted with Stan Lane as part of the Fabulous Ones. The problem here is that WWE has not inducted many tag teams and might induct Demolition, Fabulous Freebirds, Steiner Brothers, New Age Outlaws, Hardy Boys, Dudley Boys, Bushwackers, Nasty Boys, Rock N Roll Express, Midnight Express, Fabulous Kangaroos and so on before them. Not to mention whatever they do with the British Bulldogs and Jim the Anvil Neidhart. Smash and One Man Gang are probably locks.

The Brawler going in? That would be awesome. The Brawler and Horrowitz should go in, simply for doing their job of making the Superstars look unbeatable for many years very well. These are the guys that made that El Matador vs Repo Man main event on Superstars look so appealing. I think kayfabe is dead enough at this point that you can induct somebody with a record of 8-724 or whatever into a Hall Of Fame without turning too many heads. Then again, considering which thread i'm posting in, it probably would.

The Bushwhackers and Nasty Boys also had Hasbro figures, but i dont see anyone rushing to induct them. Actually their names have been tossed around in the past. As early as 2007, the Bushwackers were on that shortlist that Hogan leaked for the Hall of Fame. Brawler was also on it for that matter. The Nasty Boys were talked about in 2013 while they were in Newark. Now that Hogan is back with WWE, it wouldn't surprise me if they get a nod. Though I think they should probably induct a few more successful teams first.

Sure, he probably did more than that, but he really sticks out when you think about the WWE Hall of Fame. Not really, people are just so hung up on limo driver to try to discredit the Hall of Fame that they downplay everything else. If his most important task was driving a limo, McMahon wouldn't have said that there wouldn't have been a WWF without him. That alone should squash the notion that he wasn't an important part of the history, but it's easier for people to deride Vince McMahon's Limo Driver than to praise the guy who did everything under the sun and locked down the main territory so the company could expand. If anything, he should be praised as an example that WWE should induct more of the important behind the scenes guys.
