I just wish Smackdown was the wrestling show and not Raw's testing ground.

I didn't mind 3-hour RAWs at first, but I prefer 2 hours now. Mostly, that's because of how long the show feels when it's bad. Rematches galore and filler doesn't help, either.

I just wish Smackdown was the wrestling show and not Raw's testing ground. I miss the blue brand so much. I probably wouldn't have even started watching again in 07/08 if it wasn't for SD. They had all the cool stuff and I only watched RAW when SD storylines spilled over onto it.

Yeah it's complete trash right now. The worst part is I don't see it improving anytime soon.

Raw is so boring these days. I was watching some nitro shows yesterday and god I miss it and the wwe back then. Not because it was the attitude era or anything like that but because it was so unpredictable and the wrestlers were motivated. Today every thing is so predictable. So stale. So...boring. It makes me pretty pissed off when i think about the fact that they have no competition and this is all we are ever going to get for at least the next 10 to 15 years at least, unless hhh takes over and revamps the company and how it's booked after that fossil mcmahon is out of the picture...who has no grasp on what makes a good show or great characters anymore.
Thanks dixie carter and tna for being so incompetent that despite having enough talent have completely blown any chance they have at competing with the wwe at any level and we the fans are stuck with this horrible and boring product by the wwe (and tna too) because they don't have to be any better. Yes i will still watch because I have loved the art of wrestling starting back in the mid 80s when I was 5 years old and that's just not going to change. However, That doesn't mean I remotely like what I'm seeing and it's truly depressing to know that the thing I love so much is this stale and boring and there is virtually no hope of it getting better for another generation or more.

I watched half of the show but left midway through, albeit I am STILL looking forward to the idea of the Cena/Lesnar match, the writing for it is naff but there's no way Cena is winning the title from Lesnar.
I'm also enjoying Hollywood Miz with Freddie Mercury vs Prize Poodle Ziggler.
It honestly feels like every other year where post-Summerslam the show is largely bunkus due to a mix of injuries/tiredness of creative staff/them realizing they have profited off the Network already (they aren't losing money, they projected they wanted a million subscribers, they broke even post 400,000 subscribers and cuts have been put in place to keep their stock seeming as usual) and can sort of sit off until Rumble/EC/'Mania time.
Not that I think that excuses the junk but it's a regular pattern, with the addition of the Network being a monetary success maybe they just think they can throw out the same show 2/3 months in a row and no one'll notice? They did that during the brand split, they've done that pretty much every year.

As bad as the mid 90's were we at least had variety.......sure most of it blew but at least we weren't seeing the same old shit every week/month (That i can remember, non PPV mid 90's are a blur) That's because there wasn't 100 hours of TV every week like there is now. There are only so many possible match ups on a roster this size. And now with no brand split, we see the same guys so many times each week. Reigns for example wouldn't feel so overplayed if he was limited to just Raw or Smackdown.

I didn't watch last night beyond seeing HHH come out for the Highlight Reel, I don't even watch Smackdown anymore, I have no idea what happens on Main Event and Superstars anymore and stopped looking for recaps to just see what happens there long ago, and I've found myself so jettisoned from the WWE Universe in recent months that I wouldn't buy a PPV (or maybe even the WWE Network too) now if I could get them for free.
..........WCW dying really did destroy everything, because Vince and Co. led me down a 13-year road that wound up at this point.

Ever since Bryan got injured, it feels like it really took the wind out of their sails. There's been good stuff (Rollins/Ambrose, their current booking of Ziggler, Lesnar) but there's been a lot of bad as well (Cesaro going from the hottest wrestler in the company to where he was in 2012, The Bella's, Bray Wyatt being JAG) leaving WWE feeling sullen. I really also don't see how they can improve either, unless they put an amazing amount of effort into the product, which I know they'll never do.

I accepted long ago that WWE is in a holding pattern until Vince dies
Macabre perhaps, but that's the only way things are going to change for the better.

Dean Amrbrose's absence really sucks big time. 2 RAWs without the titty master=worst RAWs of the year.

It's just boring most weeks. That's worse than bad. Yeah, when in the past people have asked me how I could watch TNA for stretches at a time yet almost never tune in to WWE, that's basically what I tell them. I'll take the bad with the good in TNA (though they've just about blown their chance going forward now, sadly) because most of the time, at least, I'm not utterly bored. With WWE, I could stop watching for a year, flick on Raw some random Monday, and it won't feel like anything is different. It's felt that way for years now, at least for me.

We're in fall season now, ladies and gents. Based on the past decade of WWE programming, I'd suggest you jump off the ship until the Royal Rumble immediately, save yourselves!

I haven't been watching lately, and last night I flipped over a couple of times during commercials on the Miami/Lousiville game and this is what I saw:
-Miz and someone(maybe Ziggler) wrestling(I quickly fled the channel) -Stephanie, the Bellas, AJ, and Paige in the ring(I quickly fled the channel) -Mark Henry running in to attack Rusev(I quickly fled the channel) -Kane with Jericho in a headlock(I quickly fled the channel)
So yeah, I won't be back for the foreseeable future.

Yeah it's complete trash right now. The worst part is I don't see it improving anytime soon. I completely agree. I haven't watched a complete episode of Raw since WrestleMania. Hell, just making it through the first hour is an absolutely chore. With Monday Night Football looming, I doubt I watch Raw at all until MNF is gone again. I honestly don't remember a point in history where I absolutely loathed the WWE as much as I do right now. It's at the point where it's completely unwatchable.

The rematches are the most annoying part. But last night we got Axel/Swagger and Rose/O'Neil which were different but WWE needs to realize you can't just throw something different and call it a night.
I didn't give a shit about those two matches because nothing has me emotionally invested in any person that isn't Ambrose who is the only active one now because others are injured that I like.
