I remember back in June my cousin asked me if I want to have kids some day (which is quite the personal question, especially considering before her visit I hadn't seen her in 17 years. I live in Massachusetts and she lives in Michigan) and I shrugged my shoulders and gave a non-commital answer and either her or my mom gave me this whole thing about me being 30 as if to say the clock is ticking. Even though it isn't seeing how is 1. I don't really want kids (should've just said that, but didn't want to deal with all of the follow up questions that answer gets) and 2. I'm a dude. The only clock that's ticking is my eventual death. I even said that and they're all "Oh so you think you're gonna be 90 and conceive a child with a twenty-something" and I wasn't saying that at all, but men go through menopause, so me being thirty doesn't put any pressure on me to breed. Same thing with marriage. Whenever you're going out with someone and you get the "so when are you two getting married?" and you give a noncommital answer you get the "Well you're (place age here)/going to turn (again, place age here)" Oh, so I'm just supposed to get married to someone that I'm dating and enter into a major legal agreement with them because of an arbitrary number.
But speaking of breaching the paremeter between late 20s to your early 30s, here's this
