Honestly just curious why you disliked this match. I've never really understood why it's the "best match ever" but I think it's a good match. Maybe I wasn't clear but I hate the idea that this was a "show stealer" match. Hogan vs Andre was miles better than this one. I was expecting something that would blow my mind after years of WWE and the IWC drilling it in my head that it is something like that but no I wasted minutes of my life waiting for something that did not happen.Well Savage vs Warrior now THAT is a show stealer.

I think this was a much better match than Hogan/Andre, but honestly I think it's mainly just wrestling nerds (which I am) who define Savage/Steamboat as the "show stealer". Obviously everyone was there to see Hogan/Andre and even if it wasn't the best match, it was the one that made the biggest impact and had everyone talking. I also agree that Savage/Warrior was more of a show stealer because it told a great story. Savage/Steamboat was great wrestling just for the sake of it.

Using this board as my comparison point:
Chris Jericho's "Serious" run. It felt that the execution didn't fit Jericho's strengths at all, but man, people loved the guy. Points to Y2J for attempting to innovate, though, and commitment to the character.
ECW 2.0 after the first year-ish. All I saw when I looked at it was a C-show and sad husk of what ECW was meant to be. I could never support something that made such a joke out of something that was a legitimately creative product.
Edge. I never found him to be a great wrestler. He was OK, but not any kind of god like he built up to be for a spell here. His Spear was such a terrible -- and way oversaturated -- finisher that it tainted his entire persona for me. Thing is, the Spear was his only finish so I was always left with a bad taste in my mouth after his matches. That said, he was a really sharp on the promos.

Most of mine have been said but... Comedy wrestling-as someone else said there can be genuinely really funny moments in wrestling, funny comments, promo's, even storylines and and skits (early Santino) but 99% of the time actually comedy wrestling during matches in painful and takes me right out of it. Grado-again been mentioned but something about the guys seems off, I find he really annoying and a terrible wrestler anyway, but when I look at him being funny and himself he just seems so....fake. Like he's being this crazy bizarre person to get known and just isn't being himself. I know that's what wrestling is about but I dunno, something about it annoys me. Jericho-No idea why he's never clicked with me but apart from a couple of matches with CM Punk early in Punks WWE run and his ladder matches with Benoit and HBK I don't remember any match of his I have been fussed on, he's never clicked with me as a wrestler or character and has always come across as a hugely geeky guy trying to act like a cool guy. The Bray feud recently was painful with him trying to be "tough" and I hated everything about his serious suit run except for the fact he wasn't as annoying as his rock and roll stuff. I've never even got why people like his debut, if some unknown guy debuted in the same way now everyone would just laugh at his "angry face" at the end and he'd be a joke. Ziggler-To be honest see jericho expcept I've liked Zigglers matches, I just find him painful on mic, especially his terrible improv and fact he always seems to pull mic away before he's finished talking. He's like Barney from How I Met Your Mother expect no charisma and very annoying. Bret Hart/Ric Flair- maybe controversial but I always heard how great they were but were just before my time, I remember buying compilations of their matches years ago and was bored and because it was just a load of matches it highlighted to me how the only thing that changed was who they fought, they did the same thing, same match, only difference was what moves the opponent did. Even Flair v Steamboat was just both of them running at each other with arms in some random, high up position then, oops, I got arm dragged. Why was your arm in perfect arm drag position? Not even attempting a move just constant running at each other with arms up, again is a rookie in NXT did that now it'd be laughed at. For the record I know it looks like I have gone at IWC favourites to look cool but that's genuinely not the case, I get people love some of those and fair enough, each t their own, I just don't

The Undertaker in general. I've never been a fan and I think he's been fortunate in his longevity and that WWE woefully overrates him. The hyperbole in his Hall of Fame induction will be unbearable for me.
That's an unpopular one, I know

I agree with that, Colt jumped the shark after that, ironically Grado is gonna be on the second season of TNA's UK gutcheck, if TNA doesn't dies and he gets signed, Grado is gonna make more money than Colt. With that said, I don't believe that Funny draws money. Mick Foley and DX joked around yes, but they were serious in the ring, Colt isn't, I don't care for comedy wrestling the whole f***ing match, maybe just a couple of spots but not the entire duration. He had a match in chikara where it turned into a f***ing baseball game, then another time Kikutaro dressed as Colonel Sanders, I respect that other people like them, but the only place those guys should be is below the midcard.

The low-brow humor and "adult" storylines of the late '90s-mid '00s. "Choppy-choppy," Mae Young's hand, pepper steak, the Kiss My Ass Club, etc. made me embarrassed to be a wrestling fan.
The Divas division. I like womens' wrestling in general, but WWE's brand of womens' wrestling is just bad. Yeah, most of them are good-looking, but there are plenty of other places I can go to see good-looking women without having to watch them attempt to wrestle. Good looks don't make up for bad wrestling.
"People Power" didn't do anything for me.
"American Bad Ass" Undertaker was not the Undertaker. I was so glad when he brought back the Deadman persona.

The original DX with HBK as the leader, I couldn't bother myself to watch any of their stuff. I preferred it when HHH took over.

This topic begins and ends with Shawn Michaels for me. I never got the appeal and I never will.

The Young Bucks. Sensory overload for me. It is like they took the worst bits of the Hardyz. Dolph Ziggler-Keep seeing people talk about how great he is. But all I see is a guy that oversells everything. Chris Sabin Lowki-Sure he kicks hard. But anyone can do that. Give someone that looks like they are kicking hard but is really barely touching their opponent.

Stone Cold Steve Austin Other than his amazing 2001 heel-run, I've never gotten why he was so beloved. I suppose it's a cultural clash, and not being American I've never understood the everyone-secretly-wants-to-beat-their-boss-up thing that alot of his appeal lied in.
2001 was a different story though. He was sadistic and humourous at the same time, with many layers to his character.

This is when wrestling became "cool" to immature high school boys who like penis humor. Since I never did, I didn't "get" the Attitude Era as defined by WWE. Agree with this also. I could appreciate how over he was and the emotional highs of his run, but not the character itself. Now I question how much of it was a character, as he just comes across to me as a stupid redneck who thinks that if he spews his ignorant opinions with enough vinegar and throws an "and that's the bottom line" at the end, that everyone should take him seriously.

Annoying Chants - It seems that the moment you complain about an annoying chant you get the stock "I'd rather have a crowd who responds to anything than a dead crowd who sits on their hands". No, I don't want to hear a dead crowd but I sure as hell don't need to hear "He's got the whole world in his hands" or "CM Punk"(when he's not even with the company anymore) or "What" every 5 seconds.
Kickpads - They have got to be the stupid looking type of boots ever.
AJ Lee - Can't really stand her... or her husband.
David & Goliath stories - Not a fan.

The Rock.
A completely unlikeable jerk who made bad jokes and had mediocre matches. His return against CM Punk was everything I hated about modern wrestling: An older star who ALWAYS looks better to attitude era fans because he's from that era even though he's using the same crappy material as a crutch.

Shawn Michaels - have never been a fan at all, plus from what I here he comes across as an extremely unlikable guy, admittingly I've never been face to face with the guy so I can't comment on that, but overall I have just found him more annoying than anything else, and personally wasn't sad to see him go at all.

Shelton Benjamin went as far as he deserved in the WWE, great athlete = yes, but he was missing that certain something to make him contact properly with the audience.

Dolph Ziggler - I swear he used to be cool once, but now he's all lame jokes and pandering. Guy's incredibly overrated and no one rates himself higher than himself. I wish he'd just go away and do stand up, because it's obviously where his passion is and I can't stand to hear more people talk about "PUSH ZIGGLER" when he's already achieved so much more than he should have.
I haven't understood the appeal of Colt Cabana since 2010 either. Before that, he was quite good. Now, he's just gained weight and doesn't seem to care anymore. His performances are lackluster and he hasn't made me laugh since 2008 - that's a poor comedy character right there. He reached his peak with the Homicide feud in ROH where he got to show an edge.
And Paige and Emma - they've both been horrendous since their call-ups and their stuff before that was average at best.

- Ric Flair. As far as I'm concerned a lot of his so called classic matches are overrated and bore the tits off me plus whenever he did a promo it felt like the guy just huffed a bottle butane as it looked he was about to pass out right there on the spot
