Edge. I never found him to be a great wrestler. He was OK, but not any kind of god like he built up to be for a spell here. His Spear was such a terrible -- and way oversaturated -- finisher that it tainted his entire persona for me. Thing is, the Spear was his only finish so I was always left with a bad taste in my mouth after his matches. That said, he was a really sharp on the promos. His weird inability to put people over I swear to God no one ever got out of a match with Edge looking good hell even Triple H himself looked liked complete shit after a match with Edge.

D-Generation X. I liked the song, but the antics did nothing for me.
Hardcore Wrestling. Talking about the CZW/IWA-MS ultraviolent stuff where it's all about the weapons and blood. There's a step between THAT and say the way Sabu, Cactus Jack or Terry Funk did hardcore.

Shawn Michaels seriously has some of the weakest-looking offense I've seen. He's tremendously talented, but I wouldn't rate him above guys like prime Dean Maleno, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Ultimo Dragon, or others who don't usually receive half the hype.

Rapper John Cena I don't know that I necessarily prefer Cena's current character but I hated him and his lame raps so much at the time that I completely checked out by the time he really got the rocket strapped to his back. At least his matches are good nowadays.

That Cena-Punk match before last year's Wrestlemania.

I thought Jericho vs. RVD from RAW last year was absolutely horrendous. The most boring match to ever receive a "this is awesome" chant.

The metal remix of Stone Cold's theme from 2001. Paul Heyman in any sort of capacity. Brock Lesnar. I liked him back in 2003 when he was a face, but he does nothing for me now. I'd have no problem with Cena beating him at Night of Champions and bouncing him right out of the company permanently. The Shield. As a team they were Boring Invincible Villains incarnate who needed to breakup before they could become something interesting. As singles wrestlers they're nothing special at all. Daniel Bryan. I have no real interest of seeing him anymore. Man,other than the Austin one this is basically a list of why I still watch wrestling.

As best as I can tell, Brock/Cena at Summerslam.

Bobby Heenan: Always found to be way overrated as commentator and not funny as well. That and how fans are willing to humor his extreme case of martyrdom against WCW even though they payed him more than the WWE while working a lighter schedule, payed for his neck surgery by giving him health insurance when the WWE wouldn't and overlook that he has only has himself to blame for getting himself in trouble with the WCW management (and fried) because he kept turned up to events intoxicated despite being warned not to.

Brock Lesnar vs CM Punk. If Cena was anywhere near as protected as Punk was in that match people would still be bitching to this day, kind of like how they have been since the Night of Champions match. People give the Triple H matches shit, especially the Summerslam one because Hunter held his own (which to be fair I think was more than a little ridiculous) yet they totally buy CM Punk, who practices his BJJ on weekends and wears a Gracie hoodie so you know he's totes legit, not just holding his own but outright dominating Brock for most of the match, and only losing because he was distracted by Heyman. I thought both feuds were equally ridiculous, but at least there was the humorous aspect of Hunter's self-appellation "The Asskicker" and taking Brock on not in a match, but a "fight". That was hilarious and rightfully got shit on. However, Lesnar/Punk is universally beloved and I just don't get it.
As for another thing, and one that's REALLY unpopular in certain parts...Tomohiro Ishii in general. Everyone loves the dude. I've never even seen a BAD Ishii match. I've just never been like "Man, that was an awesome Ishii match!" or "I'm really looking forward to this Ishii match!" He just shows up, puts on an okay match, and then that's it for me. Then I'll go online and see "YO DAT BASED ISHII ANOTHER FIVE STAR CLASSIC HE'S THAT DUDE" and then Meltzer will give the match like four and a half stars and I'm just like...huh. Well, his bouts against Tanahashi and Nakamura this year were definitely better than average, and his match with Shibata last year, but I attribute that more to who he was working with than the man himself. I don't even think he was carried, he was just working with some elite performers and some of my favorites which added to it for me.

The Rock. A completely unlikeable jerk who made bad jokes and had mediocre matches. His return against CM Punk was everything I hated about modern wrestling: An older star who ALWAYS looks better to attitude era fans because he's from that era even though he's using the same crappy material as a crutch. I'd make it more specific in my case and say Rock AS A FACE. He was always more interesting and more creative when he was a heel. I appreciate what he did otherwise, but that was his best work, IMO. Oh, and why do we sh*t on Cena's STF, yet the Rock's Sharpshooter gets a pass? CM Punk. Yes he had some great moments and matches, but I've heard nightmare stories about him with fans. Sad to say, but Chris Benoit NOW. People still trying to defend him doesn't sit well with me. I can also name certain indies in my area...at least one of which is pretty much treated like the second coming of ECW 1.0 or another ROH. Hate for Austin 2001. Yes the heel turn was character derailment, but damned if he didn't try to make it work and succeeded most of the time. Now when WHAT?!-mania started.... Attitude Era wasn't all awful, but it gave us a lot of tropes that have gone on to hurt the product, and exist today even in toned down PG form. Plus it gave Vince Russo a job for life in the business ;-)

- Edge: He was never THAT good and the fact they rushed him into the HoF like he was pivotal to professional wrestling is a joke.
- Paul Heyman: I find him sleazy and annoying.
- ECW: I hate hardcore wrestling and I thought most of their fan base was annoying as f***. There were a few good matches here and there, I will at least give it credit for that.
- Joey Styles: I always thought he was awful. I would put him below Michael Cole, if that says anything.
- Brock Lesnar: In my opinion, overrated as hell. Outside of being a big, dumb neanderthal, there's not much there. It's a shame that something as cool as The Streak had to end at the ends of someone so undeserving.
- Chikara: While I have been to a Chikara show that was a lot of fun and I have enjoyed some of their shows, I just can't get into them in general. This is certainly true since they've came back from their bullshit 'hiatus'. Most of their cards now are filled with a lot of "Who is this?" and "Who gives a damn?" Also, and this only applies to those I've met in person, their fans are extremely annoying. Also also, Mike Quackenbush is a sketchy, weird motherf***er.

It's not that popular now since his TNA run except for the Angle feud has blew ass, but everybody used to praise Mr. Kennedy like he was the second coming of Stone Cold or something. And besides that one Angle feud in TNA, I never saw the appeal of the guy in either company. Boring matches, lame mic work, jut all around mediocere to me.
And while I liked the Shield once they joined the Authority, I wasn't that high on them. The matches were great, but for the longest they were just bland Deux Ex Machinas used for when they have no ideas for a storyline. "Hey let's get Sheamus and Orton and Big Show on the WM Card! Shield!" "Hey we don't Ryback to win the title because that young upstart Johnny Cena needs to win the title from that young upstart Rock at Wrestlemaina! Shield!" "Hey we have no top heels besides Randy Orton, who's gonna be Hunter and Steph's lapdogs? Shield!". They were like the Crab People of WWE.

I completely agree with you on Mr. Kennedy/Anderson. I always found him terribly annoying and not clever at all. The whole deal where the microphone lowered and he introduced himself became one of the most cringeworthy parts of the show. It sounds horrible but I was so glad when he got released from WWE. I usually don't even remember him until someone mentions his name then I'm like... "doh, I hate that guy."

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin: Never got the appeal. I enjoyed his work as "Stunning" Steve, though, especially when teamed with Pillman.
Jeff Hardy: always thought Matt was the worker of the Hardy Boyz.

Bret Hart. I still don't see what's interesting about him sans the fact he wears pink and in 20 years nobody made a gay joke.
