So I've got a question I've heard of how the Nemesis system isn't on the previous gen consoles but is it on PC?

Has anyone had an Orc with a sidekick yet? I've got one, Urga the Shield and whenever he shows up for revenge ( i killed him and.now he's got a hideous scarred face) I can guarantee one called Evil Eye will appear too. 4fights with Urga, each one Evil Eye has appeared. It's a one sided alliance though, usually after beating me and letting me live, Urga just walks off leaving Evil Eye to get his ass kicked before running away. a

So I've got a question I've heard of how the Nemesis system isn't on the previous gen consoles but is it on PC? I have it on PC and yes. I tried doing stealthy mission but the alarm was raised and I was overwhelmed by orcs and the one who killed me was promoted and got some fire brazier helmet look. So I ran into another group shortly after respawning and he was in that group and got the killing blow on me again and was promoted again. Ran back there and spotted him by himself and tried to stealth kill him but turns out he's now immune to stealth attacks, throws me and body slams me, each move taking half my health, killing me AGAIN. Back again, but this time I avoid his big moves and get him to low health, but he flees! He has extra fast running now, OF COURSE, I can barely keep up and he eventually escapes, which I think also makes them stronger. A little while later I'm back in the area again and try an aerial kill on some orc... but it doesn't work, it's that fire helmet guy again!! I lure him to an empty area, get his health down, tackle him when he tries to flee again, and finally finish him off once and for all.

I killed the same guy like 7 times...

I just had an epic 15 minute battle with some captain. I'm at the very beginning of the game and just doing some exploring and I come across a revenge mission.
I scope the guy out and he is much more powerful than any other captain I have seen being a Power 19 (the highest I saw before him was a 9) and the only way I could hurt him was through execution attacks.. immune to distance immune to regular frontal. I got his attack pattern down, so he wasn't hitting me and I kept chipping away at his health but our fight kept migrating farther and farther away from where it started drawing in every single Orc around in. Eventually a captain who had already killed me (one with a poison bow) decided to join our party and I thought for sure I was dead. I had to focus on poison bow while the other one regained all his health, managed to kill him and again focus on 19 power guy. Eventually I closed him into a wall and he couldn't keep drawing in every single Orc in the vicinity and I was able to finally end him. Almost wish I would have let him live after the epic fight but in the heat of battle I couldn't resist ending him.

Just got this today, really enjoying it so far.
My current blood feud is "Thakrak the Blue". Dude started off as a Level 4 Captain, thought I'd killed him, only for him to return with white hair and glowing blue eyes. Killed him again, and of course, he returns, this time with a bunch of veins covering his skin and kinda looking like he's rotting.
After this, we went back and forth for a while, with him escaping every time due to other captains turning up. I finally managed to get him alone on the edge of a stronghold, blow up a barrel he's standing by, slice and dice him and finally manage to finish him off.
Or so I thought. I was later taking on a captain called "Gundza the Murderous", about to give chase as he flees when I hear someone shout "RANGERRRRRRRR!", as it zooms to a figure with his whole head bandaged saying "Too. Much. Bother.", as I am informed that, yes, this is Thakrak the Blue, who is now Level 13, an Elite captain and apparently can't eat without the scars on his face hurting.
AND THE BASTARD STILL GOT AWAY! Had him dead to rights, bit low on health seeing as he's pretty much resistant to everything at this point, when a captain called "Hoshu the Spike" turns up, saying he told his men he'll kill me when I'm weak, allowing Thakrak to escape yet again!
I made up for it by taking Hoshu's head, but goddamn. 10/10 on the Nemesis system alone, AH LOVE IT MAGGLE!

Loving the game, I have two captains who are major problems for me. Maka The Gorger & Norduk Sword Master. Maka I have killed 4 times but the bastard keeps coming back. Norduk is the first captain I came across in the game & he butchered me. I haven't yet been able to get the better of him. Mainly because he keeps popping up when I am involved in battles with other captains. Twice he has killed me after I have won a battle against another captain.

I had one called something Graug-Catcher who kept doing the same, every time he'd almost kill me, then I'd get the upper hand and he'd flee. Finally managed to get him a few minutes ago, he'd gone from normal looking with a helmet to having one eye, part of his helmet fused into his skull and his head being wrapped in bandages.

I love some of the names we get for the captains. One I got was Flax Taskmaster, which sounds something out of 80's WWF. And then there's this...

Just completed the game {Spoiler}{Spoiler}What an utter disappointment the last major bosses are.
Quick time events, really? I went to each of the last 2 bosses expecting an epic battle to the death and instead I get quick time events?
Quick time events, are you kidding me?
It's really soured me on what was until that point a great game.

Also I think there is a slight bug in the nemesis system... from what they said they aren't supposed to come back after you cut their heads off... and they definitely have on more than one occasion. Personally I think I like it better this way considering I tend to combat finisher all of them but it does lead to a few odd conversations... like an orc whose head I cut off running at me yelling "You should have checked to see if I was dead ranger!"

Yeah, I had one come back despite him being decapitated.
And as far as funny names, I had one who's suffix was "Runny Bowels", and he was covered in mysterious brown stains. Didn't really want to touch him.

Didn't really want to touch him. That is both hilarious and disgusting. I didn't have any really funny names... the funniest title I probably got was "the dumb". I forget what he said but it was even less eloquent than the usual orc banter. Also I forget what his name was but one of the orcs I faced didn't talk... he giggled and did like the Iceman bite from top gun at me... but other than that he didn't make any noise.

I had one called "The Well-Read" who only made grunts and squeaking noises. Who knew that Orcs could be sarcastic? Sad thing is, now I've gone back to Uni, I won't be able to play this for at least two weeks. I'm gonna miss it sooooooo much. Was really enjoying myself.

I do like how their titles actually effect the way they look or act.
Like the dumb I mentioned earlier and another one who is "The messenger" and carries a bag filled with scrolls, makes them a little less generic.

It's really soured me on what was until that point a great game. {Spoiler}I agree, that was anti-climactic. At least the battle right before it had that epic feel to it. Talion leading his army of mind-controlled Orcs on an all-out assault on Ered Glamhoth.
