I binge watched all of the shows and I love it. Some stuff is corny, like the owner in his office segments, but I am digging it all so far. Where can I get one of those Lucha Underground T-shirts? I have looked online, and on the website of the channel, but I have had no luck! They are missing out on some sales by not having them available to buy online.

Co-sign on LU needing to sell merch.
Preview for tonight: Every opponent realizes that the key to winning an intense match is to fight for your life. There are grave consequences tonight, as the MASSIVE main event finally happens between Mil Muertes and his opponent Fenix.
Aero Star and Drago perform a gut-wrenching performance, while Cortez Castro, Mr. Cisco and Big Ryck battle it out to an extreme. This time, the only way to win is to put your opponent in a coffin!

Wait, I thought the Mil Meurtes/Fenix match was the casket match, not the Crew/Big Ryck match.

I think there was a mixup there. Fenix and Muertes is the Coffin match, Ryck vs The Crew is 3 on 1.
I wonder when that tournament for The Trios championship is suppose to start.

Yeah, the wording of that press release wasn't right.
Either way, should be a good show. A casket match is hard to make look good, so we'll see how they handle it. They've been pretty good about production value so far so we'll see.

It'll probably be either good or cheesy depending how it goes.

I am not sure if anyone else remembers but there were action figures made for Lucha Libre, maybe Lucha Underground should go with action figures. I know ROH is having figure put out

Yeah....that was the first time I saw people legit use the casket as a blunt weapon instead of just part of the environment.
Awesome match

The only thing I'd change about this week's show was that I'd have put the 3-on-1 on another episode where it wouldn't be so overshadowed. I've nothing against that match, but sandwiching it between the 3rd Drago/Aerostar match and Grave Consequences did it no favors.

After being disappointed with the WWE's direction, I've FINALLY decided to actually follow other companies to get my wrestling fix. I watched Tanahashi/Okada from WrestleKingdom last night, and I enjoyed that, and tonight I decided to give Lucha Underground a try.
Overall, I really enjoyed it. The Drago/Aerostar match was fun, the 3-on-1 was really cool (It took me a bit to realize that Big Ryck was Big Zeke) and the Coffin Match was awesome, I've never seen a coffin used like that, and the use of the turnbuckle crowbar object was really good stuff. I can't wait for next weeks show, as I'm really anticipating Puma/Cage. Really good stuff.
EDIT: Oh yeah, did the Lucha Dragons steal the "Lucha" chant? Or was this originated here? Or has it always been around and I just never realized?

So great, in fact, that it single handedly convinced the wife and I to not give on the show. "It's keeping us watching" is probably the highest praise I can give.

Currently in the middle of binge watching. 5 episodes in. Loving it!
I love the soap opera stuff with the owner, he plays heel authority figure perfectly and doesn't cut 20 minute promos. It's corny but it totally gives the show it's own feel.
The talent is amazing, I just wish Vampiro wouldn't say "brother" 100 times an episode. I can deal with "jesus" and "damn" but brother is getting annoying. Hopefully I'll block it out soon.
Love Fenix, Drago, and Prince Puma. and I legitimately gasped when Chavo hit Sexy Star with the chair. I was sold. Digging the back story of Mil Muertes, great in wrestling lore. I may have to go start checking out AAA as well.
Back to watching I go.

I loved the Dia De Los Muertes motif to the coffin match. Technically this type of match is a wwe idea, but they made it their own. It had a very dark, Mexican culture feel to it.
My only complaint is I wish Fenix would have gotten more offense in before he got all bloodied and beaten. Toward the later half he got the energy out of nowhere . But overall a good match. It had me going.

If the term wasn't so closely associate with WWE style product, I'd say LU was the purest sports-entertainment that anyone has ever come up with. It's like watching a "normal" TV show, only all the fight scenes are filmed before a live studio audience. It's probably also the most story-driven wrestling product I've seen in a weird way, nobody ever stops to feed the crowd, they're always focused 100% on advancing the characters and the action.
