I'm not sure where the best place for this thread is, but I'll try it here.
Do you listen to any wrestler's podcasts? Who's is your favourite?
Jericho, Austin, JR do podcasts. I believe Goldberg does one and I think I heard Foley might start doing one soon. Anyone else?
As an Austin mark, his is my favourite, but it is really good, and he is surprisingly the best interviewer out of the ones I've heard. Y2J is great, but I find parts of his a little grating. Austin's podcast is one of my favourite things he has done. I don't care if he never wrestles again, because this is better than a return could ever be.
Check out Y2j'S interview with Batista because it is brilliant and Dave comes across really well. HHH episode is a goodun too.
Also Austin's recent podcasts with DDP and Nash are very, very funny. Even the Austin episodes where he just talks to himself, ranting and raving in his ridiculous (to an English guy) voice he has. Threatening to beat up flies and the Loch Ness Monster. It's great. For some reason Stone Cold reminds me of Homer Simpson.

Jesse Ventura has a great one. Not a lot of wrestling (although there is some) but a lot of other interesting content from the future president of the United States.

Austin's podcast cured my insomnia after my Father died.
I don't mean for that to come off like an insult--it's a really good show. It finally allowed me to relax and it was really a godsend.

Austin's podcast is one of my favourite things he has done. "Homie don't wear no Spanx!"

Austin's is the best. JR's can be good, but he spends the first half hour of the show talking about current wrestling and just says the same thing every week. Literally, there is never any new insight. Just the same general views every time. I wish he would cut that out. Y2J's is good, I always listen to both shows every.
Piper's is by far the worst. I don't see how a person can even get all the way through one. The decline of Pipers auditory skills is really strange to me. I don't know how to best explain it.. It is like he went from someone who "got it" to someone completely delusional.
Peter Rosenberg and David Shoemaker, aka The Masked Man from grantland.com, do a Podcast called Cheap Heat that I really enjoy. Your mileage may vary on that one, Rosenberg isn't everyone's cup of tea.

I feel like Cabana had a really good thing going with his before the others came along. He's a decent podcast interviewer.

A self aggrandising Hogan podcast where he tells tall tales and forgets to ask his interviewee any questions because hes too busy talking about the Hulkster, Jack, would be great

I've only listened to Colt's and one of Austin's. Haven't checked out any of the others, though I've wanted to check out Jericho's. I liked the Colt ones I listened to, and the Austin one I listened to was okay, I forget who the guest was on the episode I listened to but it didn't grab me like Colt's did. But I think I should try a few more before I pass judgement on it, because I'm an Austin fan.

Austin's podcast is amazing. He's a great interviewer and even when he's by himself he's hilarious.

I really like Steve Austin's. He seems to spend more time "talking shop" with his guests than the rest of them and that's the stuff I like the most.

Cannot stand Colt's but them again I cannot stand him so that shouldn't be a shock. I won't listen to JR's for the same reason.
I love Austin's two shows but don't always listen. Tend to binge listen rather than make it a weekly thing. He can make anything interesting.
I like Jericho's wrestling interviews but not so much the outside stuff.
Really love to hear Edge host one as the time he was on with Jericho and Heyman was great.

Austins is good. I still cant get over how much of a dork he is.
Though his ADHD does kind of get a bit annoying when he jumps between subjects and cuts people off, but I don't mind that because he does talk about interesting subjects with his guests.
Jerichos kind of sucks unless he has an interesting guest. His monologue at the start is usually grating whereas I could listen to Austins Monologues all day - in fact the episodes of Austins PPV with no guests are really entertaining.
I like JR's as well because it sounds like he's a bitter old man making peace with the world

It's a toss-up between Jericho and Austin's for me. I find Jericho's interviews better, but tend to skip past his monologues. Austin's monologues are amazing, but he tends to be a little overbearing as an interviewer.
Piper's is dreadful, and JR is a tad bland. Goldberg's hasn't really grabbed me, and Ventura's just pisses me off when he's got a guest peddling his conspiracy theory.
Colt's I listen to when there's a name I recognise on there. I gave up on the lesser-known names, as most of the ones in the last couple of years have been awful.

I tried Piper's again today, so I sat through the EC3 episode while running at the gym. Probably the single worst podcast I have ever heard. I dunno how Piper's speaking skills have eroded so terribly, but it ks sad to hear.

i think we're reaching critical mass as far as wrestling personality hosted podcasts are concerned. not sure who in 2014 wants to listen a goldberg podcast, whatever(not far behind, era-themed classic wrestling review podcasts hosted by europeans). jericho is also now interviewing porn stars. anyway, austin's is probably the best, but i skip over the beginning where he bitches about los angeles traffic or whatever for 20 minutes.

What exactly is bad about Pipers? He just seems so tired, confused, and lost. Interviewers are supposed to guide the conversation and that just seems lost to him.
