Ok people time for another video game poll. Whats the best racing video game ever? You got plenty of choices, allthough I'm sure someone will bring up some I forgot.

The only racing game I can tolerate is Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix, I played my cousin's and got hooked to it, otherwise racing games aren't my cup of tea

Tough choice between Burnout and Mario Kart for me. I enjoy both series' equally. Hmmm.... i'll go with Mario Kart. Mostly because I loved that red turtle shell, especially during the last lap. Unless of course, it was used on me. ;D

Well at least no one is complaining about the lack of games to pick from.

Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 2 was EASILY the best single-seater/F1 game. It came out, not even 100% completed, in 1994, and it took nearly six years to another game to actually dethrone, for good, GP2 from his throne. When it comes to "feel", modding/editing possibilities, he's still on par with the new generation. EA Sports' F1 1999-02 is the legit heir of GP2.

Road Rash
What's better than racing a motorcycle and hitting the other racers with blunt objects?

I like all the options, and each are good in their own rights, but honestly, what can be better than pissing your friends off by hitting them with a blue or red shell just before they cross the finish line, and you win the race?

Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 2 was EASILY the best single-seater/F1 game. It came out, not even 100% completed, in 1994, and it took nearly six years to another game to actually dethrone, for good, GP2 from his throne. To be exact, GP2 came out in 1996. It was based on the 1994 season, though. If it was an option, would have voted for Grand Prix Legends which is basically a simulation of the 1967 Formula One season (albeit with a few differences, such as the French GP venue and two teams' names being changed), made by Papyrus who are best known for their NASCAR series. GPL never sold very much because of its difficulty and extreme realism (try surviving the old Nürburgring Nordschleife with all of the realism options turned on, it's not fun), which is a shame because I find it to be even better than Grand Prix 2 and pretty much all "modern" F1 sims. Anyways, I voted for Outrun. The first one, its sequels weren't that good except maybe for the current generation versions. It also has some of the greatest music in video game history, especially the legendary "Magical Sound Shower" track.
