He and Brie have NO INCOME according to Total Divas unless they are working.
They'll be living with Dean in his refrigerator box if Brie ever gets fired.

Shit, DB must be seriously banged up. makes you wonder if he will ever come back... and if he does, how he will be a different performer.

Umm, just exactly how is it possible that Bryan and Brie have no income? I find that hard to believe.

His spot on the card is undoubtedly in doubt when he does return. Aside from taking advantage of 'return heat' you'd have to be nervous about putting him in a similar prominent position until he's proven himself injury free for a good few months

Does Tommy John on a wrestler have the same recovery time as Tommy John for a baseball player? From what I have read, it is closer to 4 to 6 months for an athlete that does not throw a ball with that arm. Bryan would fall under that.

F*** sake! You know what? With Roman Reigns set to return at the Royal Rumble and Dean Ambrose capturing the audiences' imaginations right now, I think it would be best for Daniel Bryan to get the surgery and heal back to 100 percent health, as opposed to putting it aside and potentially rushing back early. I'm fine with Bryan being off-screen for another 6-12 MONTHS if it means we'll get him for another 6-12 YEARS. I'd rather see that than see Bryan come back way too soon, then have to really call it a career sometime next fall if he reaggrivates the injury. Let Reigns and Ambrose duke it out over fan appreciation like Batista and Bryan did last January and February, and let one of those two be the one to conquer Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. I'd rather see that story play out than Bryan returning, winning the belt, then unceremoniously being forced to surrender the championship because he hurt himself again. Very well put and very very true! It would just be a shame for me personally not to see him live at my first live Mania....

If you paid close enough attention, they're problem was that they were worried about blowing through all their money since They spent a lot of money on their wedding, their house, Bryan's father passing away, rehab, general travel for work that WWE doesn't pay for, and they're not sure what happens to them after wrestling if Bryan has to retire at a young age.

Considering I haven't watched nor plan on watching Total Divas I don't see how you expect people to know this information. Given what you presented, the WWE needs to pay for the travel, rehab, and if they're injured then they need to provide some sort of financial help for the wrestlers while they're recovering. I know Bret, Bob Holly, and several other wrestlers said Vince took care of them when they were injured. So if this is true, then maybe it's time Vince starts to examine his business practices and how to help injured/travelling wrestlers.

Oops, did I say rehab? sorry, I just going on a list of things that happened to DB this year. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have to pay for that, at least not all of it. Well anyways, as many a shoot interview will tell you, you lose a lot of money when you're not on the house show circuit or on ppv. A huge source of income has been taken out of their budget.

Go read the thread we had on Austin a few days back. The long short of it is that there's a difference between having money and having income. Income is replaced, money is not so if they spent their money and there's no income due to Bryan not wrestling, that's bad. Again, though, he should have a downside guarantee that pays him. Not near what he would make wrestling, but it's not "no income."

Most athletes who don't throw a ball don't have the amount of body strain that a pro wrestler will put on it though. I'd probably put him somewhere between a non-throwing athlete and a baseball player, becuase the arms take a pounding even if he doesn't do the insane things that pitchers do to their arm.

Any truth to the rumors that Brock Lesnar may have to undergo Jimmy Johns surgery?

WWE shouldn't rush him back. If he needs 2 years out so be it, if they don't want him getting paid for doing nothing, have him help train guys in NXT until he's fully fit. I'm torn. I'm drooling at the idea of Bryan getting his hands on all those green football players/amateur wrestlers and molding them into workrate machines, but I'm worried about him getting re-injured while demonstrating for someone.

Once again, something in WWE that would considered unthinkable in almost any other sports and or entertainment venture.
If a pro-football player winds up getting hurt, guarantee the dude's not worried about "no income" and having to pay for the cost of surgeries/rehab out of his own pocket.
Guess Vince is saving up for HHH's kids' Presidential campaigns.

Any truth to the rumors that Brock Lesnar may have to undergo Jimmy Johns surgery? Dunno, but I've heard that some of the Divas did undergo Jenna Jameson surgery. Jokes aside, this is bad news for Bryan. I hope he gets better.
