I'm wondering why WWE still hasn't even put a bit of effort into pushing Titus O'Neil. Here's a guy who is 6'6, 270, jacked, black, incredibly charismatic, a homegrown WWE talent, and a dedicated family man who participates in all of WWE's charity/bullying/cancer boolshit. Why is he still toiling away on Superstars when WWE has such a void in it's upper card and main event scene? Yes, he is not the most technically gifted wrestler on the planet, but he is incredibly athletic and has improved leaps and bounds since his debut over 4 years ago. And I don't really buy into any theories that it has to do with his age as there have been plenty of guys who don't get there big break until their late 30s. So what gives, why is a guy with a number of notable tools stuck messing around with the Bunny and the Gator?

The guy would be a good upper mid card guy, but keep him there.

he's clumsy as hell and that's really dangerous in the ring.

I think the NXT matches vs. Zayn and Neville have really exposed him.
Dude should definitely still be in a tag team.

Um, did you just list black as being a talent lol?

He's decent, but not THAT good. There are other guys toiling at the bottom of the barrel that I'd push before Titus. There are other BLACK guys, that I'd push before Titus.
He deserves something though. Guys like Titus are the reason why WWE should have a Television Title or some other third tier championship for the wrestlers who are talented enough to have their work rewarded, but will never be main event or even upper midcard material because there are so many guys who are that much better.

Because he's one of the worst in-ring guys on the entire roster.

Um, did you just list black as being a talent lol? No, not any more than I listed being 6'6 a 'talent'. What I listed are traits WWE would likely find desirable in a performer, and Titus has a number of them. Because he's one of the worst in-ring guys on the entire roster. I disagree but even if that were true, what would that have to do with his potential to draw money?

I thought that he was destined for something big when he turned heel around the time Batista return (he and Batista are close friends with Batista getting Titus his WWE job) but I think they saw he wasn't ready for prime time cooled on him real fast. Really if he was younger I could see him getting a chance on top but with his age and skills (or lack thereof depending on your view) I don't see that happening.

He was good as the power guy in PTP but that's about as far as the guy goes for me. One thing I absolutely can't stand, however, is trying to push him as some kind of bully heel but then have him show up every October as a sweet dude talking about his mom/grandma(can't remember which.) Every interview the guy does outside of WWE he's just nice as hell. I don't blame him for being nice but rather WWE for promoting two views of the same guy at the exact same time.

Expectations for in-ring ability in 2014 are the highest they've ever been and I don't think O'Neil meets the standard. He'd be an interesting prospect if he was 10 years younger but he's pushing 40 and hasn't shown any real signs of improvement despite being on the main roster for a while now.

Daniel Bryan once said in a interview that he thinks Titus O' Neil has all the potential of being a serious main eventer if booked right.

I'm torn. I definitely see potential in both Titus and Darren as singles guys.
At the same time, there's that voice in the back of my head saying "I miss the PTP". They had such great chemistry together, and the tag roster certainly needs all the help it can get right now.

He definitely is a tag team guy.
I like him, but I definitely don't want to overexpose him, especially given how limited he is as a worker.
Much like Miz, he works VERY well when he has someone to bounce off of.

Daniel Bryan once said in a interview that he thinks Titus O' Neil has all the potential of being a serious main eventer if booked right. While I fully agree, I always laugh at lines like that because every wrestler outside of charisma voids like Bradon Walker or Bam Neely could have been a serious main eventer if booked right.
