Sixers being open to trading Embiid for another high draft pick We may be one step closer to the 76ers owning the entire lottery.

Sixers being open to trading Embiid for another high draft pick Supposedly he has not taken rehab seriously and has been well over 300 lbs.

I feel bad for Rose. He could have had a HoF career, but it seems like injuries are just wreckign any chance of getting there.

Seriously what in the world is going on with Rose? He's had more rest than any of the current players can imagine and he still continues to get injured?

I think Rose's career is over. At least as a star. Yes the guy is talented, even accounting for his injuries, but you just can't rely on him to finish out a season now. Only a stupid or desperate GM would give him big bucks now.

All I can say to that D-Rose news is f*** off, f*** off and, oh yeah, f*** off.
Did I mention f*** off? I f****** hate everything about basketball now. Every goddamned f****** thing. Looks so great and then boom, another season-ending injury. It sucks because of the potential he has but it's over now.
Go ahead, laugh and tell your stupid f****** "edgy" jokes about someone who's hurt because I don't give a rat's ass anymore. Such bullshit.

Suffice it to say, I'm not very happy right now. They've got good enough talent to get them to maybe the second round of the playoffs and that's it.

I am just wondering what's happening with Rose body wise. It's one thing if he managed to play two to three full seasons. But for this to continue happening? Maybe it's time he just focuses on being a point guard type player, his style of play while it's high octane and very physical, it's not doing his body any favors and it's hurting his team in the process.
He needs to take a step back, become the point guard, and stop attempting to do everything.

I feel bad for Rose. He could have had a HoF career, but it seems like injuries are just wreckign any chance of getting there. Just like another guy from the University of Memphis. Penny was on his way to a Hall of Fame career, till injuries destroyed it. I agree that Rose's career as a dynamic explosive player is over. He's going to have to become a point guard that averages 15 points and 9 or so assists a game.

Sad as it seems to say, it's a very strong possibility that D-Rose will be the first MVP not to make the Hall of Fame.
Christ, this is horrible.

You guys are making it seem like some tragic situation in which someone has died.
Perhaps this is the final sign he needs that tells him it's time to retire.

Nothing sucks more than a guy with a lot of promise whose body just keeps turning on him.
Derrick Rose might as well call it a career. The Bulls lucked out in getting him, but unfortunately, that luck has become a recurring nightmare.
