Rose was like the Bulls eighth best player this year. Sucks for him personally but he has played like shit, and this doesn't hurt this year's team really.

Please name the seven Bulls who have been better than Derrick Rose this season. woo boy Edit: And Rondo's suspended tonight God, what I wouldn't give for a GIF of that video from 1:26 to 1:32, when Rick Carlisle's smug, s***-eating grin turns into a stern stare after realizing that reporter was actually going to hold his feet to the fire instead of backing into a corner.

Spurs have lost 3 in a row, including a pretty bad loss to Utah and are getting their asses handed to them by Portland at the end of the first quarter. Damnit.

I'm loving the way George Karl has this Kings team playing. We're wrapping up a good solid win against the Grizzlies right now.
I'm excited to see how the Kings look to finish the year.

He was ungodly inefficient, awful from three, passing the ball poorly and generally nowhere close to being one of the best players on the Bulls.

Well, he's been injured more often than not since like 2011. Guess it's about time he either retires or takes time off. Damn. D-Rose is gonna go down in history like Brandon Roy and Bill Walton.
Also, can we take a minute to say f*** Sam Hinkle? The guy's pretending to be some kind of savant, but gutting your team and going at the draft lottery isn't a complicated system.

Did Ya have to pick two Blazers There's got to be someone else you can pick, and don't use Greg Oden or Sam Bowie lol

The Spurs lost their 4th in a row last night and are about to finish their first ever losing rodeo road trip.
The Spurs look washed up. I would say this is the year that father time finally caught up to them but Tim Duncan turns 39 this year and is pretty much the only one still playing well. And no one is injured, it looks all mental. You can tell they're worried about it too, last night Pop played the starters until late in the game past when he would have normally benched them by. With Tim and Manu's contracts expiring this year, it looks like its time to hit the reset button.

No, the rare version would be him completely healthy and having legs that don't keep failing on him.

He was ungodly inefficient, awful from three, passing the ball poorly and generally nowhere close to being one of the best players on the Bulls. I know player efficiency rating isn't the be-all, end-all statistic, but it's a pretty good barometer of a player's value that he provides to his team. Here are the player efficiency ratings for the seven players you mentioned and Derrick Rose: Jimmy Butler 21.13 Pau Gasol 23.04 Joakim Noah 15.18 Taj Gibson 16.02 Mike Dunleavy 11.00 Nikola Mirotic 16.04 Tony Snell 11.72 Derrick Rose 16.08 I'm not disagreeing with you on Derrick Rose having a down season, because that's indisputable. But your argument loses merit when you claim that Mike Dunleavy or Tony Snell are better for the Bulls than Rose. At worst, even in a down season, Rose is the Bulls' fourth-best player this year, behind Butler, Gasol, and maaaaaaaybe Gibson.

At worst, even in a down season, Rose is the Bulls' fourth-best player this year, behind Butler, Gasol, and maaaaaaaybe Gibson. PER rewards usage ala points regardless of how much it actually takes you to get them. Dunleavy, Mirotic and Gibson got their points while contributing far more in other facets of the game. Noah is especially being punished there, because he's still been a good rebounder and excellent passer for his position but he's not scoring because he isn't really taking any shots. Rose was shooting the ball absolutely atrocious (56th out of 73 eligible point guards,) he was passing the ball at a way below average rate for a PG (his assist to TO ratio was 49th out of 51 point guards, only ahead of Zach Lavine aka SG forced to play PG and his own backup in Aaron Brooks) and he was basically just there on defense. What is the argument for putting him above Noah, other than points?

Bulls Vice President John Paxson said on Thursday that he is hopeful that Derrick Rose (knee) will be able to return this season.
