It's refreshing to know that even in life after LeBron, the Miami Heat are still detestable garbage.
I hope you're enjoying your "Brady Anderson in 1996" season right now, Hassan, because you'll be toiling in complete anonymity in a year or two.

Dan has talked about on his show how the kid still has a big ego for not doing anything in the league

The last thing the Heat needs is to have the player who has been the best feel-good story for the team this season go down a path of negativity. Clearly, Whiteside hasn't learned about controlling his anger, because this has been an issue for him over the last several games. I'm hoping he can curb his frustration sooner rather than later.

Hassan Whiteside has been suspended one game for elbowing Kelly Olynyk in the head on Monday, and he will be forced to miss Wednesday's game against the Nets.

The thing is, if Hassan Whiteside and Kelly Olynyk had been tussling in the post, throwing elbows and forearms at one another in an effort to gain position, then Whiteside blasted Olynyk the way that he did, I'd almost be able to rationalize it as a guy caught up in the heat of the moment doing something irrational.
But it's clear that wasn't the case, because Whiteside just unnecessarily blindsides Olynyk, then walks right to the bench and off the floor in a way that felt premeditated. It's almost as if he was thinking, "I really don't want to play anymore tonight, here's the cheap shot that'll get me tossed, see you guys after the game."

Spurs have won 6 in a row with a decisive win over Toronto tonight. Kawhi Leonard has scored 20+ points 5 games in a row.
It took all season, but the defending champs are looking like the defending champs.

Ryan Anderson's career was nearly ended for far less in almost the same manner.

Wizards looked good tonight, if they can find some consistent 3 point shooting they could make a run.
LOL @ LeBron without a headband, that sucka is working on the George Costanza hairstyle

Hoop may as well have been 3 feet wide in the Cavs/Spurs game everything was dropping. Irving with 56 at last check.

Fantastic game tonight. Spurs put out a hell of an effort but Kyrie Irving went bonkers.

I hope it ends up like the Celtics record points in a game in the 80s where Kevin McHale owned it for like four days, then Larry Legend looked at him and said "Hope you had your fun bro, I'm getting it back on the Hawks" Lebron scores 60 the next game (I need it too in my final week of fantasy BBall league and I'm hanging on to 8th seed for dear life. Hoping to move up to 7th)

I never thought the Pacers would compete for the sixth seed, but after last night, they continue their rare second half surge.

4 Warrior starters getting the night off in Denver for rest.
I'm personally OK with this.
Remember what happened with last year's Pacers? They pushed their guys too hard, too many minutes.
And the Dubs, unlike Indiana a year ago, have a bench.
You don't want to burn out your best players.
Plus, they have a home game Saturday against the Knicks. A road game Friday and home game Saturday is a dangerous spot to go pedal to the metal.

Speaking of teams starting to make a late-season push, the Celtics have gone 12-6 in their last 18 and have won five of their last six. At 28-36, they sit one game out of 8th place and two games out of 7th place.
