Hiroki Kuroda has signed a one year deal to go back to Japan and pitch for the Hiroshima Carp. He pitched for them from 1997-2007 before coming over to the states.

Well... could've been worse. If it was Medina the one traded I would be kinda glad (the guy has a tendency to walk a lot of hitters when he isn't on) and Maurer looked like a beast once he switched to the bullpen. But even so, a Smith/Ruggiano platoon in right field seems ok to me and this way we can promote Future All-Star Closer Carson Smith to the main team's pen.

Deal is done. Marlon Byrd and cash for Ben Lively. Bit of an underwhelming return imo. Mets got more and the Pirates only had a few months of him.

Your 2015 Hall of Famers are... Craig Biggio Randy Johnson Pedro Martinez John Smoltz And once again leaving off one of the 3 greatest to ever play, and one of the 3 greatest to pitch. Leaving out Clemens and Bonds is like the NFL leaving out Tom Brady and Barry Sanders, and the basketball Hall of Fame leaving out Duncan and Hakeem.

No Mike Piazza again? What the f*** is wrong with the stupid baseball writers? Well he was in a room with some steroids once or so I heard from some guy who heard from a guy. Piazza was fifth overall in the voting and got 69.9% of the vote so I hope that's a good sign for next year.

I hope these writers that are moralizing about drugs in baseball give up the money they made writing about MLB in the 90s.
I'm happy for Pedro though. Best pitcher I've ever seen
