Why's this guy supposedly the future of the company? I see him interchangeable with any of those guys who were basicailly treated like garbage. All athletic don't get me wrong but really nothing charismatic about them. Ziggler having the most charisma grant you which could of shined at times if they'd have let it.

He's infinitley better than Ziggler and Kingston in my opinion.
Benjamin's athleticism was exciting to watch though so, not sure there.

Shelton Benjamin could do some amazing things but he was a charisma vaccuum, in my view.
It's hard to define sometimes. Seth has star power that Kingston doesn't, and in my view he's a much better talker than Ziggler. He's a superb all-rounder.

Kofi hasnt managed to translate into anything interesting as an on screen character. Rollins is a better seller than both of them, and has a better moveset. Better on screen presence.

I think Rollins has that x factor. His little mannerisms and things he shouts at people are fantastic. He's benefited from a great push but he's made it work.

To reiterate-
I'm so impressed by Rollins. He's just terrific in the ring. He's got a great look, he's athletic and he's playing a good heel. He's an alright talker too. And he has the Shield in his past which can only be a plus.
Ziggler is a good seller, but he's atrocious on the microphone at times. He's got a stupid name, his moveset is okay, but some of his moves look stupid in my opinion. The Zig Zag is not a move a top level guy would do.
Benjamin was brilliant in the ring. It's been a long time since I've watched him, but his athletic feats were astonishing. Don't remember him being charismatic.
Kingston is just so dull to me. He's been the same middle of the road, pointless mid-card paper champion for ever. His whole moveset looks ineffective and stupid. Fair play to him though that he did a few cool things with Orton. And of course the stuff he has done at the Royal Rumbles and in ladder matches have been very cool.

Fair enough... guess I'm in the Minority. I see Ambrose as a star but just see Rollins on the Kofi level. Guess we'll wait and see...

You said it yourself he hasn't been treated like garbage, it's hard to invest in garbage, garbage can't be the future of the company, just look at Duke "The Dumpster" Drosse. Seth has been portrayed as a star and has been (over?) protected from the moment he became NXT champion right up to the present day.
More subjectively Rollins is a great all-rounder which includes being charismatic. (Kofi is charismatic too but has no real character)

1. Better mic skills 2. Character progression 3. Better booking 4. More unique look and gimmick 5. Less stale 6. This is only relevant to Benjamin, but appears to actually give more of a shit
Many of these things are not Rollins being better when compared to the other talents necessarily, but booking makes all the difference.

Not what I expected from this thread so far. So I guess in the Future Triple H will bring out a bunch of people with Lisps that instead of chanting Yes Yes Yes will be chanting Seth Seth Seth!!!

The key is to dye only half your hair blonde instead of all of it. This is where Shelton screwed up.

Whilst I agree with the principle, Rollins has been pushed heavily and is knocking it out the park as a heel. I'm pleased as I thought he'd get lost as a face when The Shield split with the other 2 being such promenant characters. Good for him.

Both Flair and Dusty Rhodes had lisps amd they did just fine. But let's continue to hone in on the little things that are barely there to begin with to hold it against him.

Another thing that may play a factor in his success compared to the others is that Rollins wrestled for ten years before coming to WWE/the Developmental system. Ziggler and Benjamin were OVW alums and Kofi only had a year of wrestling experience before signing. He had all that time to develop while the others were essentially thrown out on the big stage before they were ready.

Seth Rollins wrestled in Ring of Honor, and that means he is clearly the greatest wrestler of all time and far, far better than those "homegrown" guys like Shelton/Ziggler/Kofi.
...wait, that's it, isn't it? I was just saying that sarcastically! Dammit...
