I have no doubt Triple H would put Sting over but I can't help but think, why should he? Putting over a lifelong non-WWE guy in a WWE event seems a bit odd to me. Well firstly it's good business. This isn't Buff Bagwell this is f***ing Sting! Also WWE have put over many life long non WWE guys many times. Most celebrities go over the talent always. Shaq, K Fed, Tyson, Bob Barker, etc. If Kfed can beat John Cena Sting can go over HHH in some fashion.

If he has to run down to the ring, I pray this doesn't happen: HE's not gassed. HE just doesn't give a shit. No one did.

There is zero chance HHH would put Sting over. He's based a good chunk of his career on crapping on WCW and WCW guys. Sting would just be the next in a long line of HHH showing us WCW is no good. The only question is if he'd be professional enough to at least make it a competitive match as opposed to a squash. If you honestly think Sting's first (and probably only) WWE match would be a convincing loss to Triple H then.....well I don't know what to say. Triple H is nowhere near as bad as you're making out. If they do meet one on one, I don't think that Triple H should lose to Sting. I'm not even a big fan of H, and I like Sting... I just think at this stage of both of their careers Sting is pretty much done whereas Trips still has a few good showcase matches left in him. Triple H is also in much better shape, a decade younger and arguably the better wrestler. Sure, a back and forth match would be fine, but I'd totally understand a clean loss for Sting.

If he has to run down to the ring, I pray this doesn't happen: By all accounts Sting has gotten back into decent shape and whenever I see no video of him pop up he looks healthier too.

I really think it should be "Fake Sting" just so HHH can troll us again.

Sting runs in, takes out the entirety of Team Authority. Looks at Cena. As Cena goes the AA Rollins, Sting sticks him with the bat. Rollins pins Cena. Russo gives his blessing.

i'm torn. Part of me feels like such a huge deal - perhaps the last major holdout of the biggest era in the history of wrestling joining the company - should be promoted properly and used to pop a buyrate or subscriptions, but I understand where they're coming from. Having Orton or Reigns show up would have just as much an impact without having to burn one of the bigger moments in company history. I get that we're in the Network era now, though.

Is it possible that was on the dvd on purpose? I don't think so. I vaguely remember them apologizing and reprinting it.

I had figured that fake sting was part of Stings development and it was thrown on there with the assumption people wouldn't assume they had no idea that it wasn't him.

Team Cena loses because someone betrays the others, the Authority starts beating everyone down, then pose for victory. Until.... When man's heart is full of deceit... It burns up, dies... And a dark shadows falls over his soul... From the ashes of a once great man, Has risen a curse... A wrong that must be righted... We look to the skies for a vindicator, Someone to strike fear into the black hearts Of the same men who created him... The battle between good and evil has begun... Against an army of shadows, Lies the dark warrior... The prevailer of good... With a voice of silence... And a mission of justice...
This. is. Sting. That was easily one of the best promos ever

It's actually Sting from the Police so we can get that long awaited feud with Evolution. "hunter, I've got a message in a bottle...and it says I'm going to kick your ass" Batista: bottles don't hold grudges! I know this is a joke, but I would love for this to happen. Wait a second... "New Day?" Who's most associated with "Brand New Day?" Gold and Star Dust take breaths. The Usos move in synchronicity. Adam ROSE. "Desert ROSE." The Police changed their style and landed their first #1 album in 1979...THE SAME YEAR THE WWWF BECAME THE WWF! Sting began his solo career in 1984...THE SAME YEAR HULKAMANIA STARTED RUNNING WILD! The Attitude Era began in 1997 and rejuvenated the company with a new audience, THE SAME YEAR STING RETURNED TO THE MAINSTREAM THANKS TO PUFFY SAMPLING HIM AND REJUVENATED THE SINGER WITH A NEW AUDIENCE! You guys...this whole time...The WWE's been one big advertisement for Sting.

I had figured that fake sting was part of Stings development and it was thrown on there with the assumption people wouldn't assume they had no idea that it wasn't him. With mass-produced DVDs, it's going to take AT LEAST about 5 months for that initial printing to disappear from store shelves. The WWE isn't issuing an emergency recall because of a wrong picture.
