Cena realises there's no reason to turn. He's making shitloads of money, is the #1 guy in wrestling, sells tons of merchandise, is a hero to children, is a ray of sunshine to Make a Wish kids, is their main guy for public relations and media appearances, knows that it doesn't matter that 50% of the crowd are booing him as long as they are paying to do it, and he also knows that his chances of winning over the people who hate him are so small, it's really not worth the risk.
And he's completely right IMO, even though it leads to staleness. He's doing what is in his interests. I can't fault him for it. I'd do the same.

But I just want the truth, instead of the white-washed version of him being such a swell guy that even though he would rather turn heel, he's doin it for the kids. He's out for himself. Why would anyone voluntarily leave the top spot and all those merch sales?
