So tonight, Wyatt and Ambrose are gonna square off in an Ambulance Match that is probably going to be the main event of Raw. I'll admit, as much as I'm lukewarm on this feud, I'm pretty excited for this match. Seems like it's gonna be a knock-down drag out fight. One thing that REALLY bugs me is the stipulation. In order to win, you must place your opponent in an ambulance. Okay...and?
This type of match in general has always been silly to me. I mean, you have all these match types that could have massive repercussions on both mens' careers, such as a steel cage, hell in the cell (wouldn't give that away on free tv, though), or hell, even a No Disqualification match. But no. The only real ramification this match presents is being taken away in an ambulance to the hospital. I mean, I know it's supposed to be symbolic, but come on. There's NOTHING stopping the person being whisked away from just coming back the next night; hell, maybe even on the same night. Maybe the hospital will treat them for that day or something, but I don't really see how this is going to cap off these guys' feud when they seem to hate the hell out of eachother. That's why I don't think this feud will end like this. An ambulance match is simply not enough.

Don't forget the sadistic followup that happens off camera. They have to fill out forms and wait in the ER waiting room for like...a really long time.

If they ever have an ambulance match in Canada I'd feel bad for the loser. They'll be in the waiting room for four hours before they even get moved to an examination room. Where they then wait for another two hours.

Considering these guys have no company issued insurance, going to the hospital is far worse then any HIAC or Hardcore match they could be put in.

When I saw it is an ambulance match it just told me Ambrose is jobbing tonight and has reached his peak in the WWE. Just another jobber to Vince who reached for the Brass Ring and latched onto the "other" ring Vince offers select wrestlers, but that ring is made of medical grade silicone.

I'm just hoping an extremely happy babyface like Kofi losses an ambulance match and the next raw he cuts a promo thanking his opponent because while in the hospital he had his sore ankle fixed so he's in better shape now to kick his opponents ass so he was the real loser of the match.
