So... apparently Vince McMahon is personally writing Reigns promos.  Which may explain all those recent ones he's been doing, like the Superman one on Raw and now this Looney Tunes inspired stuff on Smackdown. Is Vince just drawing off stuff from his childhood now to try and get Reigns over? I didn't watch the full episode of Smackdown, admittedly, but I did see that promo. Absolutely mindboggling stuff. |

Imagine how much bigger if Austin could have been if he used Looney Tunes catchphrases in his rise. Him saying "Ain't I a stinker?" after every stunner could have made Vince a trillionaire.

Roman's promo was pretty bad but somehow he kept the crowd engaged and on his side. And before anyone say it was audio sweetner, it was actual crowd reactions. Like mouths actually moving and camera panning on them instead of a close up shot of Roman. He basically Big Daddy Cool'd that promo.

Sheamus threw his all into the material and you could believe he was a jovial, jolly Irish douche who beat the shit out of people for shits and giggles. It sort of fit him With Roman, WWE seems to want him to be everything. it's like they want him to be the douchey comedy face AND the badass destroyer at the same time, and it's just a jumbled mess. |

Tell me he didn't really say that. Not only did Reigns really say suffering succotash, he also said Rollins was full of "donkey dung". He's the coolest guy in 4th grade. |

I feel so bad for Roman. You can tell he doesn't want to say this stuff (might be why he feels awkward on live shows doing it), but he doesn't really have a say in the matter. Maybe he should just storm into Vince's office and tell him off. I don't know, but I like the dude and I don't want to see his career hit a wall cause they don't know how to write for him.
