I like Gotham but to me Ben McKenzie will always be Ryan Atwood moved from The O.C. to Gotham and became a Detective.
Also I can't ever see Jim Parsons being anyone other than Sheldon Cooper.

The flip side of this question is outside of the cast of The Big Bang Theory I don't think anyone who stars on a tv series from this decade will be indentified and labeled as their charecter for the rest of their lives since even the most watched shows now are only seen by a fraction of the population.

Michael Rooker is another one.
When I was watching him in Guardians of the Galaxy, All I saw was a Blue Merle Dixon..
It seems playing the Character who is a complete douchebag yet somehow still likeable is his thing.
I'm willing to guess this will be the case for most Walking Dead actors.
I saw an ad for a movie that Jon Bernthal was doing with Dwayne Johnson and all I saw was Shane.

As soon as I saw this thread I was going to say that Jim Parsons will always be Sheldon Cooper. Even if you watch the trailer for the animated film "Home". All I picture when I hear his voice is Sheldon.

2) an easy one, Tiffany Thiesen as Kelly Kapowski (her and Christina Applegate as Kelly Bundy were my TV crushes in the 90s. Everyone else was second) Ohhh, I don't know. A *lot* of people will probably always see her as Valerie Malone

Alfonso Ribeiro will forever be Carlton Banks. Of course, he's owned it and used it to his advantage on Dancing With the Stars. It doesn't matter how many thing Aaron Paul acts in from here on in, all I will ever see is Jesse Pinkman. ....bitch.

There are tons.
As someone else already said George Lazenby as James Bond is one. Roger Moore also fits this and you could probably make an argument that Timothy Dalton as an actual actor (not voice) is really only known for James Bond as well. Tons of the Bond girls have never done anything but being a Bond girl either so they'd count. The late Richard Kiel couldn't seem to move away from being Jaws either.
Brandon Routh is a guy who could never seem to do anything apart from Superman either. Adam West and Burt Ward still can't get away from being Batman and Robin and still make money doing it to this day. Lou Ferrigno is never quite got away from being the Hulk either.

Sean Schemmel will always be known as Goku. Jason David Frank, for better or worse, as Tommy Oliver in Power Rangers. James Avery as Uncle Phil. Al Pacino as Tony Montana. Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

The late Richard Kiel couldn't seem to move away from being Jaws either. 90s kids might better remember Richard as the giant man from Happy Gilmore.
