I liked the episodes a lot. But maaaaaan, do they miss Pierce as a punching bag and Donald Glover just in general. The writing is still good, but the remaining cast members just don't have the comedic ability of Glover or Chase (as much of a douche as he is.)
They had a few great exchanges.
Britta: She called Annie a bitch. Annie: She implied I was a bitch. Britta: She implied Annie was a stuck-up bitch who thinks she's better than everyone else!
Frankie: Does this school need a virtual reality machine? Dean: It needs one like a hole in the head. Frankie: That's something you don't need. Dean: .....she said through a giant hole in her head.
Elroy: Get out of my Winnebago! Jeff: You're not allowed to yell that like it's a punishment.
This show will never be as good as it was in seasons 1-3. But Harmon and company still have it.

There's something sad about this show. Especially being on Yahoo. Reminds me of those irrelevant shows on weekend syndication that play at 3:00 during the day or 1:30 at night that you'd never hear about outside of its airing (not to mention the crappiness of Yahoo Screen's layout on Roku and the trailers look like those cheap commercials for TV shows on DVD compared to NBC). Also, the cast leaving and new characters leaving the show every season. Though something about it, I find charming and I'm growing attached to the show like I did in the first season. I like how the New woman is essential what Britta was in the first season. A straight man in the sea of maniacs.

I now have to watch the first 5 seasons in order. Darn it. *4 seasons 4 seasons and a gas leak! I really enjoyed the new eps. I like the new characters as well.

The main storyline was very lacking IMO. Greendale has been a punchline this entire series, and they're all scared (well, not Jeff) of it being seen as a joke? Ok.....But the Dean/Jeff subplot was hilarious. The whole exchange when Dean gives him his "5 can Olives" was hilarious. Then ending was also very well done. High highs and low lows this episode. I still don't think Elroy adds anything to the show, but it's early.

I like that the show (either due to creative choices or budgetary choices) has gone back to being more grounded. It got pretty cartoony on NBC and this feels more like S1 in that its like, "okay, on some level this could happen and these are just weirdos reacting to it."

I did enjoy this episode (especially the text exchanges) but I'll forever remember this as the episode Britta crapped herself.

I still don't think Elroy adds anything to the show, but it's early. Well if nothing else, his reaction to Frankie saying she doesn't have a TV was hilarious.

It's not exactly a major channel and Community isn't a very well known show, why would there be advertising for it outside of Sony TV?

The latest episode was pretty good. The stairs scene was hilarious, and Abed's Seinfeld is pretty dead-on.

episodes 1-3 were really good, nothing groundbreaking though
was rather disappointed with the Karate Kid episode...could someone explain what was supposed to be so good about it? many redditors thought it was top 2 this season...
