With all the negativity lately one would think we are in the depths of one of the worst times in wrestling... IMO this is nothing compared to 2008 through 09 for me. Anyway the poll is simple enough and goes back as far as the Hogan era.

I'm not a big fan of 2006 at all, but 2014 was really brutal. One of those two.

Out of all the years I've watched WWF/E 03 was my least favorite. I've watched WWF/E regularly since late 96. WCW/NWA on the the other hand I have watched for ages.

2000
Rock had probably his best run with the title Triple H was on the top of his game Austin's return was pretty good Angle was must watch week after week Benoit was made to look extremely credible those last few months The Hardyz, Dudleyz and Edge/Christian made the tag division awesome
Edit: Read the title wrong
The real answer is 2007 Lashley sucked Benoit's actions put a black eye on the business Santino's first IC title reign was horrible Hornswoggle being Vince's son and getting featured all the time
I'm thankfully forgetting a lot of things that happened in 2007.

I still watched during every other year on this poll, so 2014 by default gets my vote. They openly drove me away early in the year.

That is what this poll was about, wasn't it?

Even King Booker and ECW could not save WWE from the snorefest that was 2006. It was such a dull year for me that I often have to wiki the PPVs in an attempt to remember exactly what transpired... only to regret doing so moments later.

Last year was my least favorite since I've been watching regularly ('97 or so?). Completely put me off the product. Now I only watch PPVs and I can only be bothered to watch those live once in a blue moon. Just can't get excited for anything.

2007 for me. Benoit's actions cast a dark cloud over the whole company for a while. Cena's long title reign was starting to wear on me, SD was utterly decimated by the draft, and ECW was till awkwardly transitioning out of the old "Extreme" imitation days into the proto-NXT show it became in the later years. Throw in the McMahon fake death and long lost son stuff, everything with Hornswoggle, two of my favorites (HBK/Booker) gone for much of the year, and you have the makings of a dubious period.
Though the monotony of 2014 gets close to topping it.

2007.
Benoit tragedy. Plus, the product was so much shit, it took me almost 3 years to start watching regularly again.

ooof.
Its a toss up between 2002 & 2014. Both year's were so bad I took a break from WWE. But I'd give the edge to 2014. I stopped watching in 2001/2002 because the show wasn't for me and I got busy with other stuff.
I could still be watching it now, but its just not worth it.

Having started watching 2002, 2006 was the first year while watching WWE that I really went, "wow, this shit kinda sucks, doesn't it?"

What year did Doink come in? That's the only time I took a hiatus from watching and I don't remember why.

I guess Doink had nothing to do with it.
