If you liked listening to bullshit, give Belichick's and especially Tom Brady's press conferences a listen.
And with the way the NFL seeming to drag its feet with the investigation, the media are going to circle the Super Bowl like vultures looking at a freshly dead Kobe beef steer.

Nah they're going to announce it Friday afternoon in order to try and bury the story

How in the blue hell hasn't the league investigation involved talking to Brady yet? Absolutely baffling.

I stand by my belief that it's sour grapes and people just trying to find an excuse to hate the Patriots. There are bigger things to be concerned about than some deflated balls in my eyes.
So if the Patriots win the Super Bowl on the 1st and do it by convincingly defeating a tough Seattle team. What will the excuses be then? Will it be deflated balls? Recording walkthroughs? The entire Seattle team was drugged by Tom Brady?

Here's a quote from someone posted a comment on Facebook. People need to let this go and stop acting like immature crybabies because the Colts got outplayed. "Normally when someone "cheats" it is to accomplish something deceptively. Since Brady's passing game was much worse in the first half with the "deflated" balls than it was after they were corrected for the second half, How does that specify "cheating"? A more sensible explanation would be someone was trying to make him play worse." Have you even read this thread and the last one? You do realize that it's already been said more than a dozen times that this has nothing to do with the Colts losing, right? The Patriots cheated. It doesn't matter what the outcome is. They got caught doing it. Do you understand these things? Yes, I have read the thread and yes people are jumping to conclusions. It hasn't been proven that the Patriots cheated, much like a lot of people you're jumping to conclusions as well. What I am seeing is a lot of people not acknowleding that the Colts were defeated soundly by a superior team. Deflated balls had nothing to do with it whatsoever.

If the Patriots are the Four Horsemen of the NFL (with Brady as Ric Flair and Belichick as J.J. Dillon), does that make Peyton the Hulk Hogan of the NFL? Nah, Hulk Hogan could win the big matches more than one time. Hogan finally wins the WWF Title in 1992, but the face commentators talk up how Hulkamania has been running wild all this time.

Uh yeah clearly you haven't read this thread or the one before it because not a single solitary person has said anything other than the colts were defeated by a better team and would have won regardless. Yet, they cheated. Doesn't matter if they win or lost or by how much. They cheated.

A professor on Sportscenter said something interesting....in that the balls could have been deflated naturally by the cold (just like tires lose air in the cold).
And before you ask, he is from the University of Iowa, no where near New England.

He said it would've deflated by 2%. The balls deflated in question were deflated by significantly more PSI than 2%. If it was just nature taking over, the balls would've still been within league regulation. The Colts' balls and the kicking balls would've also been as deflated.

They found that 11 of the 12 balls were underinflated. There's no question about it now. What do you think this was? A setup by Roger Goodell to spite the team of his golfing buddy? A zebra conspiracy? I'm not even going to post the ones in this thread. Just go into the threads and type in "Colts" in the search bar, and see the many occasions of people in this thread saying time and again that the deflated balls is NOT why the Colts lost. Here's just a few of the posts in the last thread, in case your search function is broken: officialfan.proboards.com/post/11393235/threadofficialfan.proboards.com/post/11393473/threadofficialfan.proboards.com/post/11400724/threadofficialfan.proboards.com/post/11400930/threadThe apologetics in this thread are ridiculous.

Forget wasting time with him. Even if all of the Colts fans (myself included) here say at once "The deflated balls had NOTHING to do with why the Patriots walloped us!" (which is a constant as well as the actual truth), he's just gonna reply by saying, "Yeah... but you all still have sour grapes, crybabies." Heck, he keeps posting comments elsewhere supporting this mindset. He himself pretty much stated that he's rejecting our reality and substituting his own. As far as he's concerned, all Colts fans feel this is the only reason why we lost. Once again, proving how Patriots homers can be so annoying.

49ers hired TEs coach Eric Mangini as defensive coordinator.
ESPN's Jeff Legwold passes along "buzz" from the Senior Bowl that Wade Phillips is a candidate for the Broncos' defensive coordinator vacancy.
ESPN Browns reporter Jeremy Fowler reports the team has reached out to free agent Brian Hoyer about a contract extension.
The Browns are expected to offer "backup quarterback money," which is what Hoyer's on-field play warrants.

The funny thing is that Belichick was almost convincing on his own. Like I can almost give him benefit of the doubt and give him plausible deniability, even though the coach is ultimately responsible for what happens with his team. But Brady is a really bad liar.
