Not an attempt to advertise for either site in particular here just wondering who everyone reads/listens to for their news fix mainly. Personally been more of an Observer guy for years, but lately I will say while I still prefer Dave's newsletters I'm starting to really like Keller's audio updates more and more.
Although one thing that bugs me with both of them in interviews is that they will spend five minutes qualifying their question to the point that when they wrap it up the person on the other end has forgotten what the hell they were even talking about to begin with.

You can't really go wrong with either, IMO. I've been a Torch subscriber since 2012 and I've really enjoyed it.
When I decided to subscribe to a sheet and had to pick between the Torch and the Observer, I picked the Torch becauseits exclusive to wrestling whereas the Observer is 50-50 wrestling and MMA, and I don't follow MMA at all.

Prefer PWInsider personally but like more of what I have heard out of the guy from the Torch over Meltzer in various outside project I've heard them do.

Have had Observer since 2012 and love it. I've heard a few PWInsider free radio shows and they're good. I think it's a matter of what you're looking for. I don't mind the MMA additions, and I love Lance Storm and Todd Martin audio shows in addition to Meltzer's Meltzerisms. Andrew and Steveweiser could both probably give you a more definitive explanation of why to go Observer or otherwise.

I prefer Observer, but I've been listening to their shows since the eYada era around 1999.
And I only started listening to PWTorch audio within the last couple of years. But the only shows I like are some of the Torchtalk interviews and the Bruce Mitchell weekend updates.
But I rarely listen because the audio quality on PWTorch podcasts is pretty bad and usually gives me a headache. Especially on the Bruce Mitchell weekend shows.
Bryan Alvarez can be annoying, but one thing I like is that he insists on high quality audio for most of the F4W/Observer shows.

Meltzer is great, and still the guy I trust the most when it comes to wrestling news stories. His weekly newsletter is always a great read and I love the audio provided by Bryan and Dave and Vinny - Especially since the quality of the audio equipment has improved over the years.
I've subscribed to PWTorch a few times and I enjoy it for awhile, but I soon grow tired of the poor-quality of the audio and constant Steve Austin interviews. Wade himself is a fine host and I really like the newsletter they do, but since I already subscribe to The Observer/F4W I really don't have a need for both.

I think both camps have their strengths. I might prefer Dave over Wade, but Bruce Mitchell's great.

Dave doesn't give away a lot despite what the news sites say.. and he's very knowledgeable of classic wrestlig / Japan stuff. He's also very respectful to his guests

Subscribe to Observer/FFW. Like Wade Keller's stuff as well. He's pretty active on social media and I've had some decent twitter interactions with him. I'd favor The Empire~ slightly.

I subscribe to the Observer, I never subscribed to the Torch so I can't really compare the two but I like the contrast between Meltzer's fairly objective and level-headed criticism to Alvarez's over the top take on everything. Dave Meltzer is just a living breathing encyclopedia and he always has a take on what's going on that makes me think, given he has a lot of anecdotal history to compliment whatever analysis he's making.

Although after YEARS of listening to him I find that I sometimes type like he talks with RANDOM LOUD OUTBURSTS to force home my point instead of rational argument.

I don't subscribe to either, but I do like reading the Torch and their affliates reports in addition to reading Uproxx of the WWE scene

I don't read/listen to either. Despite reading copy and paste snippets that people post on here and one or two other wrestling sites I don't even know which of the two names mentioned above that Wade or Dave work for.
