So this is possibly the most insulted that I have ever been by a tv show. Did they hire WWE writers? My god these first two episodes are bad.

My wife and I watched the first two seasons back in the day but didn't keep up with it, so I never saw season 3 and 4 that people say are horrible. With the new show starting, we've been watching the original on Netflix and we are halfway through season two, so I still haven't seen the super crappy ones yet. I am excited to get to the new ones though.
Also, very excited for X-Files, but only if it is just a mini series that brings closure to unanswered questions and stuff. I wouldn't want it back full time.

Heroes wise I never got to the end of the carnival season.
Having said that ignoring the disaster that is season 2, I quite liked 3 (Petrelli Dad/evil heroes escape mwa hahaha) and 4 (Government hunts the mutants down.)

Has anyone watched these new episodes yet because I feel like they were the worst episodes that have ever been done. And I want to use examples but I don't want to spoil them.

Really enjoyed this. I went in with pretty low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.
HRG was the best thing about Heroes so I'm glad to see him back.

You only have to go back one page to see that other people watched it and also liked it.

I thought just about all of it has been awful so far. I will start with the worst. Katana Girl...Who thought this was a good idea (question mark key is busted) That story is moronic. A magical sword that can put her into a video game. Are you serious. And those graphics...Holy shit did they hire the Real Adventures of Johnny Quest artists.
That opening scene at the aa style meeting was so beyond stupid. The speedster just running in into things like a pinball. The new characters are so dull and just reminiscent of the twins from season two. Terrible writing and poorly acted. There is just a bunch of team up rehashes. The katana girl is just a redo of hiro and Ando, those teenagers are just the new Claire Bennet and sidekick, just with roles reversed.
And everyone is explaining something in every breath. the Dialogue is so forced and convoluted. And Noahs pal who is doing his best Seth Rogen impression....
I am a guy who loves Heroes. I always defended seasons 2-3. 4 for me is when I caught up with everyone on hating it. But I am loved season 2 man.
So the fact that I hate this Reborn really says something.
EDIT and Noah being self aware of the HRG shit, and hiding his glasses with the Haitian as if they were some super secretive item was hilariously bad.

I enjoyed some stuff and didn't enjoy others. The Evo hunting crazy woman was very offputting. The Katana Girl stuff was pretty awful.
The Vengador, the teleporting kid, HRG, Molly Walker, the old guy with the pennies, those all seemed promising storylines.

Forgot to come back after watching the first two episodes. I liked them, haven't watched the others yet but I will soon. I just hope things stay good and that the next season if they score one will be good as well.

I've watched all three episodes and while I don't dislike what I've seen, they are taking their time building up to the central exposition that is needed to explain the thrust of the conflict.
I recognize that this is 13 episodes and not 22, but even still, the current pacing can't sustain itself.
Also, the Zachary Levi character is absurd. He's presented as a cold-blooded killer and now we're supposed to forget about that all of a sudden, accept his change of heart and pity him? Nope.

I'm still watching just to point out, much like in series two, the writers appear to have got bored and are just taking from the X-Men. {Spoiler}They even named one of the time travelling babies Nathan!

This series has been really compelling to me. It's a lot to wrap your head around something I'm gonna have to rewatch a few times for it all to sink in.

Well, if it wasn't so terrible people may have stuck around for it.I watched the first four seasons faithfully, bought the books, comics and DVDs. This was pretty insulting,at least the first two hours were. I never watched after the premier.

I still don't understand why anybody thought this was a good idea in the first place.
