Retailers aren't going to want to stock the system if they go that route. It takes up inventory and why would they have something in their inventory that encourages making them less money. There's compromises that could be made. Maybe instead of traditional games, Nintendo uses a form of those cards you can buy in stores with codes on the back similar to what PlayStation Plus uses. You'd be buying them from a store and they'd actually take up less space than disc-based games would on the shelf. I was specifically remarking on them being cheaper or released earlier on the Nintendo E-shop. THAT the retailers will not go for. Selling hte gamecard type things with Nintendo E-shop codes on it I they could and most likely would do.

I still say they might switch from Disc to a SD card like format. Since nintendo system never play dvd/bluray/cd, it won't be a huge loss to them to drop disc and switch to another format.

Played the Splatoon testfire demo last night. Really fun. Convinced me to pick up a retail copy.
Now I have to decide whether I'm a kid now or a squid now.

Well, shut it down. No reason to buy Super Mario Maker anymore. Someone already made the best level for trolling:
Nintendo promoting it is the icing on the cake.

Stuff like this makes me not get Nintendo's stance on Let's Players.

Stuff like this makes me not get Nintendo's stance on Let's Players. Well this commercial was created by the Yacht Club the company behind Shovel Knight. But Arin was in the Nintendo World Championships.... so who the hell knows.

It's just this whole thing with them not liking Let's Players profitting off of their games, but at the same time they'll still partner with Smosh and Game Grumps to promote their stuff.

They just wanted to try and make some money with it without being invasive. It did not work but they dropped that instance already

And Team Decepticon wins the NA Splatfest. I guess Marie needed the win since Callie went over two in a row.

And if they don't make like 12 of them and tell everyone "lol share", then I'll be happy.

Scored Olimar, Zero Suit Samus and Ganondorf at Wal Mart this morning. Was there 15 min after open, and they were already out of Retro 8-Bit Mario. Looks like Dr. Mario and Modern 8-Bit Mario are going to be relatively common from this set.
