I'm up for it. Hey, I kinda liked Rocky V, so so far this franchise hasn't had a duffer yet.

Did anyone enjoy 'Rocky Balboa' (2006) ? I rank that as my second favorite Rocky movie, behind the original Rocky.

He should face Drago's son in the last act
"That's for my pops!" Says Creed as he pummels Drago Jr to a bloody pulp.
"I…did…n't…do anything to your grandfather……urgh" Drago Jr says before collapsing into a coma in the middle of the ring

It'd be cool if Apollo's son had to fight Clubber Lang Junior.

Balboa was really good, if often very depressing. Good bookend to the first though.

I love all of the Rocky movies (yes, including 5) and the concept of this spin off sounds plausible and also like it could potentially be a very good movie. I'm all for it!

I wonder if Creed will be a new franchise. It would be weird if Rocky died in the third installment like Mickey before him I have read that they intend for it to be a new franchise, I think that's the hope they have for nearly every movie they make nowadays

Stop trying to make Michael B Jordan a "star" he sucks and doesn't deserve the work he's being given.

I think the series really went downhill after they abandoned the message of the first, but the others are still watchable for camp value.

I liked all of the Rocky movies including V. My only problem with that one is they tried to force "Go for it!" as the film's catchphrase. Speaking of the Balboa/Creed relationship, in retrospect I wish in Rocky III they showed a boxing magazine with a cover story about Apollo training Rocky with the headline "Creed's Apostle". I kind of want to see Rocky and Adonis be featured in a 30 for 30 (or a 30 for 30-esque sports documentary) episode about the Apollo Creed-Rocky Balboa rivalry that acts as either a catalyst for the plot (Rocky waits to be interviewed while Adonis has his turn, they bump into each other and Rocky mentions Adonis talking about training for his own boxing career) or as the prologue to the movie (the 30 for 30 ends with Rocky and/or Adonis being asked by the director about Balboa training Creed and one or both of them laugh at the absurdity of the Rocky/Apollo rivalry still affecting their lives decades later, even decade's after Apollo's death). Delphi Boxing Academy, Apollo Creed, Adonis Creed. The Creed family really has a thing for Greek mythology! Is there gonna be a subplot in which Adonis dates an older lady because he has an Oedipus complex?

I have liked all the Rocky movies and will probably give this a watch. I do want a high amount of Stallone in the movie though and since he's a supporting character that could go either way. Did anyone enjoy 'Rocky Balboa' (2006) ? Yeah it was a great way to end the series for Rocky himself. Despite Rocky being a former 2-3 time World Heavyweight Boxing Champion he was still the underdog in the film and you were still emotionally invested in his story despite him doing it 5 times before.
