I really like listening to Meltzer talk about wrestling and think he is one of the very few legitimate wrestling journalists (despite his English being so bad I'm convinced it isn't his first language) but come on man the summation of this is basically "The news is that there is news but we have no idea what this news is. Stay tuned for more news, or at least news about news." In Meltzer's defense, in the actual show he made a point of noting that he felt there was a story there, but that he didn't want to speculate on it because then people would start taking it as gospel and posting it as news. Which...appears to be exactly what has happened.

On the Raw review, Alvarez asks him what's going on with Lesnar, Dave says he honestly does not know, but he knows that he was there and was advertised to be there (on tv) as late as 20 minutes before showtime. He says "there's a story" but he that's as much as he knows about it. He begins to talk about what he thinks might have happened, but then he catches himself because he knows how these shitty copy & paste sites take his words out of context.

WHY BROCK LESNAR DIDN'T APPEAR ON RAW by Mike Johnson @ 3:56 PM on 2/24/2015 As reported last night in the PWInsider Elite section, WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar was backstage at Raw but was not used. Lesnar flew on his private plane to Nashville for the taping earlier in the day on Monday. According to those who saw him backstage yesterday, Lesnar was obviously angry about something and one source claimed he walked out of the taping before it ended. There are different stories making the rounds, but PWInsider.com has been told it was not something on the creative end that set Lesnar off, but something regarding his business relationship with WWE. No one we spoke with was willing to elaborate beyond that, but several made it clear it had nothing to do with any planned booking. Vince McMahon acknowledged the issue during a Smackdown production meeting today, a source claimed, but did not elaborate on the issue. Lesnar has returned home to Minnesota and is not backstage at Smackdown. Lesnar is not advertised to appear again for WWE until the 3/9 Raw taping in Pittsburgh, PA, which gives WWE several weeks to work out whatever the issue is. If and when we confirm additional details, we will update. Brock is all about the money. You don't mess with Brock's money. Just ask New Japan.

As it turns out, Brock is really a fan of old cartoons and is upset WWE refuses to pay him in the form of bags of money with a dollar sign on them.

This is fantastic. As the only enjoyment I get out of WWE these days stems from when things go terribly wrong (since there's no entertainment to be found in their storylines nor does supporting my favorite wrestlers mean anything), having their champion possibly walk out while their #1 contender is reviled is glorious schadenfreude. Burn baby, burn!

I think Brock was upset that the person they send to get Jimmy John's for him got the order wrong.
Brock: I said NO PICKLES! Screw this, I'm going home!

The three biggest matches at Mania will probably all include one person who doesn't appear on WWE TV regularly beforehand.
Taker vs Bray Sting vs HHH Lesnar vs Reigns

Of all people, BROCK LESNAR would know that they have freaky fast delivery and would have a replacement sandwich before he could make it out of the locker room!!

Brock will probably tell all in a podcast 6 months from now. Brock: "So then Vince asks me, me to take a drug test! I said "no, I'm not taking it." Then HHH goes up to me and says "Hey, Roman just took this test a little while ago", and I said "Well, did you?!" He just stood back in his spot and didn't say anything else."

It would be funny if Lesnar walked out before Mania, which would force the WWE to change plans, and that would result in Bryan winning the title in the main event.

Ask any random WWE fan if pulling the normal contract tomfoolery with Lesnar is gonna work and they'll say no.
Even the notoriously slow on the uptake VKM should have figured this out the LAST three times he tried it.
Lesnar will do anything you want...if you pay him. That's not a difficult concept.

What if Brock was asked to do the job in an unadvertised King of the Ring qualifier match to Steve Austin?

I usually defend Meltzer, but Jesus Christ unless you have details ready to spill then THERE IS NO UPDATE RIGHT NOW. Exactly. There's no shame in saying, "Brock Lesnar was originally announced for Raw this week. We do not yet know why Brock Lesnar was not on Raw. We expect more information on this situation."
