OK, it's almost the end of the year. Let's hear y'all's top five of the year. My list:
1. Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly (Was there ever any doubt?) 2. Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside (Late surprise of the year. Found it earlier this month and I'm hooked.) 3. A$AP Rocky - AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP (Pretty underrated in my opinion.) 4. DJ Esco and Future - 56 Nights (HOTTAKE: I liked it more than DS2.) 5. Big Sean - Dark Sky Paradise (Is it goofy? Yes. Corny? Yes. But for some reason I still really enjoy it.)

I'm kinda feeling the new Kanye track. The beat is fire and this is a track that benefits from him being Kanye all over it. I get the feeling that's gonna be in my rotation over the next few weeks.
In cornball news, Hopsin is having a mini-meltdown on his Facebook page right now talking about leaving his label and how he's all mad with somebody saying he doesn't work hard.

I'm feeling this. It is a remix track, heck he even admits as much to open the first verse, but he takes Jumpman somewhere new.

Decided to check out Logic after hearing a track that featured Slug was recently released. Downloaded a couple mixtapes and I'm loving this shit. Love the Chrono Trigger sample in this particular track...

It seems that G.O.O.D. Friday has been revived. Kanye has dropped one new track ("Real Friends") and a snippet of another featuring Kendrick ("No More Parties in LA"). You can listen to both here. (Warning: Not really that good a host, but it was the best I could find.)

Check out his two studio albums if you haven't already.

HBO's got this new J. Cole documentary called Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming. Most of it's concert footage so far, really digging it.
