I remember a thread here a while back about the chances of Connor being put into the HoF as a tribute. I remember wanting him in the HoF but this makes much more sense.
Dana Warrior and Daniel Bryan are presenting the award. Welp.

Guessing this is a "First annual Montgomery Burns Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Excellence" type thing where it's a one time award being given. |

He's not being inducted into the HoF though, he's being honored at the ceremony but with a 'Warrior Award'. The Warrior Award "will be presented each year at the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony." It's part of the Hall of Fame. |

This makes me so happy and so angry. Can you imagine Daniel Bryan saying he was going to go beat Brock to honor Connor. Why can't WWE just let us have the feels? I'd be smiling so huge and in tears if this was a tribute main event. Storylines aside though this is awesome. Time to go watch the video again.

I'm guessing they are sort of taking into Ultimate Warrior's Suggestion of having a different wing of the Hall of Fame for the behind scene guys named after the guy who was in charge of selling all the merch on the road back in the 80's and 90's. I forgot the guys name. It seems like WWE is taking up to his suggestion of a different branch in the Hall of Fame I guess. |

They're giving an award named after a wrestler who suddenly passed away after being inducted into the Hall of Fame to a kid who passed away prematurely.
I hope this wasn't intentional.
