m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2404517-the-rock-discusses-potential-brock-lesnar-rematch-at-wrestlemania-32Rock sounds open to facing Bork at next years mania. Interesting. I mean, I want Brock to stay but I think there's way more interesting opponents for him to face at next years Mania. Id rather see Brock face Bryan or someone else on the active roster, personally. Rollins, Ambrose, Orton etc If he must face a part timer/retired guy I'd rather see Austin vs Lesnar. Equally as pointless as Rock vs Lesnar but a match I would prefer to see.

As long as the world title is off Brock by this point.

Reports are that Brock made that Rock statement recently as a potential set-up for the Rock match next year too.
I'm guessing that Brock will resign soon, Rock/Brock will be on for WM32 and well we'll move on from there.

Who would carry who in that match? I don't want to see it. Sure, it would be a marquee matchup, but I just don't see it being a very good match.

Biggest money match they could make. Makes sense for Mania in a huge stadium and the attendance they're shooting for

Brock Vs. Rock is a guy who's viewed as a legit asskicker monster with credibility Vs. A world famous blockbuster movie star. Austin coming back would be huge but I don't think it would be as huge.

Not Austin for what 12 years.

I've been saying for years that they should have done Rock/Brock at WM 29 (with Cena beating Punk for the title), but if they were going to save Rock/Brock for anything, then WM 32 in Dallas where they want to pack the biggest house in their history is probably the best place for it. Most people don't remember or care that they wrestled in 2002. In 2016, it would be the biggest Hollywood action star in the world vs. a legit MMA star. It should draw huge.

Yeah but the nostalgia or whatever isnt the draw here. Its a battle between two huuuuge mainstream stars. Now if Austin wants to come back at the same show? That'll be just fine. Unless he goes against Cena. Dunno if my heart can take that.

I am writing this years and next year's WrestleMania off being a show I'll enjoy too much. This year will be half filled with people who haven't been bothered to turn up to promote it and next year will be any old timer with any appeal thrown in the ring to try and sell out that huge place.
WM33 is likely the next show that will be of any use to the current roster.

I have yet to figure out this notion that Brock(or the Rock for that matter) needs to be carried. There's more than like 6 guys on the WWE roster that know how to work a match.

I know it'll be a huge draw but...ugh. Unless Brock unleashes 16 german suplexes and literally breaks Rock in half*, no part of this sounds interesting.
*not really literally, I'm just kinda referencing that last Rock match, where it was reported his guts exploded or whatever

I love both guys, but have no desire to see this post 2002.

Rock and his inner circle were pissed that he got that injury facing Cena the second time around. That was against John Cena. A rather safe worker.
Brock has f***ed people up. No way Hollywood is facing him, and if he does, expect it to suck.

I'm in the camp of yes but not for the title. Have Rock cost Brock the title at the Royal Rumble to set it up.

I know they both know how to work a match. What I meant more was the fact that give it five minutes and Rock would be blown up, and I can't imagine it would take much longer for Brock to be blown up. So ten minutes in and they're both sucking wind, how great or athletic is the match gonna be? If I remember correctly, Rock got injured fairly quickly into his last match with Cena. Just not being around the ring for the long, I think it would just be better to put each with a regular instead of part timer vs part timer.

Outside of the accident with old ass Taker early in the match(A guy who probably hurts himself getting up in the morning now), I've not seen any instances of him hurting anyone.

Figures the one Mania I stand an actually chance at going to would have Rock headline and beat one of my all time favorites. Man I hope he gets a role in Tooth Fairy 4 or whatever it is so this doesn't happen.
