Out of all those losses, only the Bryan one meant anything and he would have gotten his win back had he not gotten injured. You know he would have spent the period leading up to it costing him the title and besting him at every turn, running him down on the mic without meaningful reply because that's Hunter's thing. The two pay-per-view losses to The Shield definitely meant something, those were the big moments for The Shield as babyfaces. Those wins are huge. And while it's nothing new to have Undertaker beat Triple H, it sure didn't hurt Undertaker, Triple H is a credible rival and adds some good wins to the streak. Sure meant more than a lukewarm 2006 Mark Henry and several other streak matches. And I genuinely doubt he'd want to get a win back on Daniel Bryan, especially now that he's wrestling much less. Plus, he never got a win back on Batista even when they were both full time.

No mention of the "THIS IS THE WWE, NOT THE UFC!" line?

If nothing else, Trips put Bryan over comprehensively. Bryan beat him clean as a sheet, then in the main events when H tried to interfere, Bryan bested him again and Hunter had to be helped to the back like a frail old man.

It was the perfect time to break them up, not sure what that has to do with the wins having meaning. And Rollins is the greatest thing in the history of entertainment right now, so if this is all part of Triple H's crazy egotistical plans, well... it's just best for business I guess.

No mention of the "THIS IS THE WWE, NOT THE UFC!" line? HHH: "THIS IS THE WWE, NOT UFC. AND HERES THE THING BROCK.. LESNAR: "It's Bork.." HHH: "HERES THE THING, BORK. I CAN SCRIPT MYSELF TO BEAT YOU." LESNAR: "That's fine. Just give my money or I'll twist off your head."

While the timing of the breakup wasn't great (I would've had Seth cost The Shield the match), it really was the best time. It's kinda funny how the one guy who's been consistently over since The Shield broke up is the guy being protected by HHH, a man who's criticized for not putting over people.

My favorite part of the feud was them explaining away HHH being in Mayweather's corner without a cast because he had some magic cast that he can wear under his clothing. And they then show some weird stock photoesq photos of HHH doing his corporate work. The weird thing being that not all broken arms are put in casts these days. I broke mine the same time, and I didn't get a cast.

The whole feud was just mind bogglingly stupid and pretty much once again exposed everything that is wrong with HHH as a babyface.
I mean its ridiculous that he straight up refused to show any vulnerability against Brock whatsoever. Brock breaks his arm piff no big deal as we now get to see Hunter's almost wolverine like healing ability with said broken arm and now all Brock does is beat up his friends. Lost his first match against Brock via tap out again no biggie because the asskicker is back and so on and so on. Brock losing at WM could of been somewhat forgivable if they had to stuck to storyline of their WM match afterwards but nope it was back to more Brock is pansy and how Brock had to cheat like a cowardly heel to win the rubber match.
That and booking HHH as Brock's physical equal was also stupid because he clearly isn't. While HHH whole trying to look like badarse mc badarse might work against certain opponents it looked straight up silly against someone like Brock who everyone in real life knows would murder HHH with ease if it ever went down to a shoot.

Triple H is not a good face, he's not a great heel either no matter what he would like to believe as the job of a heel is to make the face look good in victory or defeat. Random note, he was universally cheered over Cena in their WrestleMania 22 match, getting the "Yeah!" when he hit Cena and "Boo!" when Cena hit him, etc. And Triple H was a heel at the time, and yet was a better babyface than the top babyface. Granted this might go with your point, but he has natural charisma and is good with humor and promos, is great in the ring, and fans chose to side with him. Also, DX Triple H with the Outlaws and X-Pac and Chyna was great stuff before they turned heel. I had a D-X shirt for a reason in 7th grade. Also in general I think humor is his strong suit, much better than the angry intense character, so being a babyface suits him well. Or the funny smarmy heel he's doing at the moment. I agree on a lot of Triple H criticism for sure, just saying for the record, he has had the fans behind him at times for sure, and that means he was good at it. The Cena thing is why I truly believe Trips is the greatest mind in dis business. The Cena overpush while simultaneously discrediting him sure made a lot of people forget the reign of terror. And it wasn't just fans who sided with Triple H it was Cena himself. Cena had credibly beat everyone in his path, but both of them took the time to remind us Cena had accomplished nothing, despite all those victories, titles, hell despite the fact Cena was currently the top champ at the time, he was just a nobody and Trips was the greatest bestest. Cena who had rose up as the tough talking master of thuganomics finished his character assassination, that had started with his draft to Raw, on the alter of Triple H's ego. Cena went from the best promo on the B show to giving Jumpin Jeff Farmer level of promos. Yep,...................I half expected him to call out ol' Motley. People think Trips has been trolling us these last few years I think it's been going on since he had to give his pretty belt up to he who shant be named. Benoit came out worse for beating Trips. And except for Batista and HBK so has everyone else since he became officially Mcfamily.
