Bumping this because I do what I want! Also... I was flipping channels yesterday or the day before and Cartoon Network was playing Scooby doo and the Wrestlemania mystery... Why the hell didn't anyone tell me the Female Cast of Young Justice make an appearance as home viewers

I've figured out what really worked with Young Justice; it had a good rapport with Brave & the Bold which was shown on repeat for most of the young justice run. Brave & the Bold is the silliest comic book show not called Teen Titans Go but it could also have serious episodes (Chill of the Night is one of my favorite episodes of a cartoon ever) while Young Justice was a much more serious show which could still have comedic elements. Mind you I found that the second series made things a bit too dark but the point still stands. It was a more somber show running alongside a comedic series & a sci-fi adventure in Green Lantern so there was a ton of variety that didn't feelt the same.

I found this show extremely whelming. After binge watching the show I found that "feeling the aster" had made its way into my daily vocabulary.

Peter David confirms he was misquoted and even tells Greg meetings are wishful thinking. I guess that's that. Drat.
I wasn't entirely sure it meant the show was getting on Netflix. A picture of an autographed script copy doesn't mean the guy who met Peter David was being truthful about what he said. Even if it were, the deal wouldn't be finalized until Warner Bros. gave the okay. Until we hear about them getting on board, its not a done deal. But it did do very well on Netflix for a while, and Greg is still pushing fans to keep binge watching it. He wouldn't keep up the encouragement if there was no hope.

All the posted responses fans had from Netflix confirmed that a while ago, but its great that Greg acknowledged it.

So was Peter David just being pessimistic?

All he said was that it was a total misquote, not sure its that pessimistic. He was just correcting an excited fanboy he met.
Doesn't really matter if Netflix has had any meetings with Warner Bros. WB are the ones who own the rights, the show doesn't get another season without their say-so. Hopefully they'll greenlight a Netflix season, but there is a chance they might not for a while because they have Justice League Action in the works.

I remembered this thread when I watched this earlier. He also made a video about Batman Beyond.

It's a really good video, albeit not as in depth because the answer's literally given to him unlike stuff like Teen Titans and The Timmverse.
Also, highly recommend subscribing to Comicstorian in general. He reads comics out in a dramatic fashion which is kind of great if you want to get into certain arcs and characters.

He tends to over do it on the voices sometimes tho which can get grating.

Check out the rest of his Weekly Pull castmates too. ComicsExplained, CapedJoel, That C Monster and definitely watch Back Issues by ComicPop.

It's depressing how great quality animated shows like this get canceled before the story is completed. It's even more depressing when those shows are canceled for stupid executive reasons. And it's even more depressing to know that Johnny Test lasted longer than alot of my favorites.
