Having worked in media I can honestly say that it is very easy to skewer words from any medium whether written or other. To me that would be something being taken out of context. Misquote to me is someone manipulated a quote from someone by changing what the person said or putting it out of order. It seems like if Chris really felt this way, then he had every opportunity to say it the first time around. You can't scream misquote at IGN for him allegedly not explaining something correctly I'm not saying it was done here, just that it happens more often than most people think. With that it said it seems that this was just a case of him not being entirely clear with IGN and he corrected it, no biggie. Don't really see what he did so wrong that everyone is all upset at him about.

If you would've told me ten years ago that, in 2015, the IWC would hate Chris Jericho and like (or at least tolerate) Triple H, I never would've believed you. Yet here we are. " If you want to cheer for Funaki or Daniel Bryan or Fandango, go nuts do your thing man, but I'm just saying I like Roman Reigns." One of these things is not like the others... Of course...Funaki & Fandango are human beings while DANIEL BRYAN'S A DAMN FARM ANIMAL, MAGGLE!

Don't be absurd, Chris. No one wants to cheer for Fandango in 2015. Lies :-(

Jericho is alright by me. Is he perfect? No. Not at all. He has no idea why he rubs people the wrong way a lot and he thinks that stories about Drunkicho in his books are HI-larious when they're not. He comes off like a jerk.
That being said, I don't know him personally. I can feel as strongly about him as any other person I don't know. I like more things about him than I dislike.

Rather than being "misquoted" it seems to me than he simply offered a piss poor argument and has scrambled to try and salvage it.

Jericho can like Roman all he wants.
As soon as a wrestler tells me to shut up because I don't like something/someone, they can f*** off.
That's also the reason people turned on Jericho, because f*** that noise. I don't get why it's mystifying.
