My guess is Seth throws a fit on Raw and ends up on the reverse cover.

The massive roster is cool and all... but it really doesn't matter to me who is in the game.
I usually only stick to CAWS... which is why the Creative Suite and the gameplay are my major issues that need to be fixed.
As I've already said the 2k15 gameplay made it feel like matches took FOREVER... and just wasn't fun... removing most of the dragging the opponent into position things would help it tremendously.
the caw mode being pretty much completely barebones was damned near inexcusable... especially since they were hyping mycareer mode as their main reason for the current gen version.
I couldn't make like any of my people, several that have been in every game since Warzone.... and the ones that I did make don't look right at all...

Am I the only not buying the 120 on disc roster? I hope I'm wrong but knowing THQ, it won't, then they'll cover themselves with the wording of what they said.

They've already announced it's 120 day 1 coming with the game. I don't see how that's misleading.

It's also not THQ.
THQ is long gone.

What wording? It's been pretty straight forward. Yeah but it just seems to good to be true It is also a selling point they can throw out there with relatively little effort compared to revamping the game engine, or significantly expanding the CAW system.

2K then
120 on disc is immense, I can just see some sort of catch coming with it that'll make the 2K boards have their annual rage

2K then 120 on disc is immense, I can just see some sort of catch coming with it that'll make the 2K boards have their annual rage I can't remember for the life of me, but someone at 2k did an interview regarding the number of wrestlers on disc and how it all came down to new and better ways to compress the files. Look at the work they do with the NBA franchise and all of the professional player models they get scanned in, 120 doesn't sound like a reach knowing the quality of the studio. They even admitted last year, that with the time frame they were given they put a lot of the burden on Yukes to teach them how to make a wrestling game basically. This year will be 2K's first full effort. I rather liked 2K15. Tag matches were a headache, but overall I enjoyed the pacing. I'll still take any possible recreation of No Merch or DOR2's pacing any day, but the simulation style works for me. I just want better sound, maybe 8 people in the ring, 2K's face scan tech, and a marriage of Universe mode with more GM aspects. Also for the love of all that is holy, cut down on load times. Everywhere. I'd make so many more original guys if stuff didn't take a minute each to preview.

Nothing like promoting your younger talent by putting a nostalgia act on the cover. Stuff like this is the reason why "PG ERA SUX! THUMBS UP FOR ATTITUDE ERA!" style comments still exist.

I just wish there was a storyline editor for Universe mode. Making a story and deciding what cutscenes show up. I want more control of it but not complete story maker control.

Nothing like promoting your younger talent by putting a nostalgia act on the cover. Stuff like this is the reason why "PG ERA SUX! THUMBS UP FOR ATTITUDE ERA!" style comments still exist. It is a hard balance. On the one hand, you have a superstar from one of the biggest boom periods in wrestling, a pop culture icon, who only competes with Hulk Hogan and The Rock in terms of recognizability On the other hand you have Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, etc. These are the top guys now, but putting them on the cover does nothing to hook the casual fans of yesteryear. Hopefully they will do a reversible cover with some newer guys

whatculture.com/gaming/wwe-2k16-roster-predicting-all-120-superstars-in-the-game.phpThese guys took a shot at a 120 characters roster and I think it is pretty realistic. This made me realize that yeah, the CAW needs to be better. Because there's still people that aren't in there that I'd love to see, for exemple, The Vaudevillains. Plus, I'm one of those peoples that likes to have the whole HOF as a brand in the game so... Plus if that roster would be the roster there would be a very very important omission. No Dusty Rhodes? Really?

If they're doing the biggest roster ever thing there's really no excuse for anyone that's on the main roster or NXT "TV" with regularity to be left off.
But then again I'm not someone who agonizes over who is in and who isn't.

I don't know about you all but given it's "Attitude Era" again this already confirms me playing the game more than 2K15. That game couldn't hold my attention but rest assured when I played 2K13, I played for a far longer time. You have today's amazing roster plus the Attitude Era and potentially some legends? The roster itself just gives me more personally.
Now the only thing left is if we'll be seeing the gameplay, modes and customization improve. If we get that? We'll be good.
