I would like to see the crowd chant "NEW NA-TION" in tune with claps instead of "NEW DAY-SUCKS" just to see how New Day and announcers play it off.

The weirdness of this act is just what Big E has needed. He's not a generic angry guy heel or a bland smiley babyface. This is something he can sink his teeth into. The last 2 weeks are beginning to show his range as a performer.

lol I don't even know how to answer this.. Vignettes are basically short videos showing people's gimmicks. So yes that is a reason to believe that's their gimmick... New Day is a take off of "Being born again" which is a big theme in Christianity... So yes that is a reason to believe that is their gimmick... The fact they say stuff like "feel the power", while they come to the ring. A term largely used to talk about the power of Jesus or the Holy Ghost. Then there's the actual entrance video that looks like a church service. And look at the lyrics... www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S4S2IoBSSoThe clapping and dancing are things that have become synonymous with the African american church. I mean it's not rocket science.... You have much experience at black churches? lol.. my mother is a pastor if that means anything

This isn't a bad gimmick, it has been a bad build. Which happens with almost every tag team and most of the solo stars now. The best two builds in recent years were the SHIELD and Wyatts. God forbid they put in that effort more often.

I find the most bizarre thing about this is the fact that they were kinda going to be darker when they first started, being really pissed off about where they where on card and what not. They are taken off air with no explanation. They come back as literally choir boys, only to turn dark and pissed off again.

God forbid they put in that effort more often. This is what I don't get about the hate. Like they haven't done anything. They don't have annoying promos. They don't bury half the roster. They are 3 of wwe most consistent workers. Like I could see people being indifferent about them, but I don't get where the hate stems from.

Its always easy to say Vince, so I guess I'll blame him. Anyway, its like WWE has an idea for what they want to do with a gimmick, but most times don't know how to get there.

That Trouble in Paradise kick from Kofi when he was outside the ring was probably the most heel thing he has ever done in his career. Seriously if he continues these types of tactics he might suddenly become interesting

I really dug Xavier facial acting last night. Watch Big E closer in that .gif. Watch his brow when he looks over to Xavier. Watch his expression when he turns away from everyone. Holy hell, that man is amazing. Is the gimmick going to play out that they don't like each other? Both Xavier and BigE's faces here suggest it, and it harks back to Kofi & Xavier criticising BigE's sweatiness problem a few weeks into the gimmick.
