Oh, so these are moments overblown by WWE, not by FAN (i.e. Paul London smiling)

Mostly everything that Vince McMahon has ever done. WCW stealing ECW talent but WWE never did, the WWE gave the ECW talent an opportunity to become WWE superstars. WCW being awful and the only reason why they were ahead of the WWE in 1996 to 1998 is because they copied the WWE.

This if Your Life (Important for the ratings, but actually shockingly boring and humorless when you see it for the second or third time) This is your life wasn't actually the highest rated segment like they claim. It was actually a Mean Street Posse match

Like, most of HBK's career. Truth. HBK's career is one of the most overblown things in wrestling history, the parangon of WWE's hype machine and revisionists behaviors. Some great matches, some great promos, very talented guy, but HBK: GOAT, no.

Anything referred to as a Wrestlemania moment. Except for Hogan/Rock at X8. Was that the first?

97 out of the 98 alleged "Wrestlemania Moments" at Wrestlemania 31.

To be fair with some of the things brought up:
This is your life was one of the highest rated segments ever and was a pretty good non wrestling segment featuring two people with great chemistry. It wasn't the highest rated segment ever, that was a match between Steve Austin and The Undertaker.
The Austin 3:16 speech was a break out moment for someone who had just started to break out on his own. Hell, Austin debuted the Stone Cold Stunner in a quarter finals KOTR match on Raw.
The boyhood dream deal was great because it was this build to this guy's very first WWF Championship win and I feel first time title wins are now only reserved for Money in the Bank winners or aren't properly built i.e. Sheamus, or in the case of Daniel Bryan, are cashed in on with the Money in the Bank contract.

Kurt Angle's milk truck. To me, it wasn't anywhere near as cool as the beer bath, plus anything having to do with the Invasion angle is pretty much lame, anyway.

I heard he was a 10 foot giant, who was slammed in front of 10 million people and then died just 2 days later. You have it all wrong, brother. Hogan died shortly after slamming Andre. He came back two days later

It has died down in recent years but Jericho first undisputed champion was pretty over blown for awhile. Kane turning back into "demon" Ken Donald Trump and Floyd Mayweather imo are pretty overblown themselves And for when it happened when the Big Show debuted as Paul White at the time it was supposedly some huge signing that I remember feeling very meh toward

Medusa trashing the woman's title? At the time everyone was like 'who cares?'
The Nation of Domination. They were an awful stable and only The Rock, towards the end, was over to any discernible level. Barely a month goes by without someone bringing up plans for a 'new nation'

Mike Tyson's involvement in 1998. Did anyone really consider him a "member of DX"? The guy was expensive window dressing and gets way too much credit. He did barely anything in that entire angle, including the title match at WrestleMania. Anytime he said anything, he came across as a child just following his cues.

Definitely Tyson. It was good for business, but the on-screen involvement was meaningless other than the brawl with Austin, and to top it off, it all ended with a fast count on HBK.
